Granit is an inspiration to anyone who is down and out. He went from being genuinely hated by a lot of his own fans to being a fan favorite and our sort of unsung hero. He's playing out of his skin right now. Long may it continue.

To be totally objective... Xhaka is currently deployed in a way that he's more "alongside" Jesus and Martinelli. Zinchenko now is Partey's partner in midfield.

@@adhynugroho9424 The build up shape is very fluid as seen against Brentford. At times White Saliba and Gabriel form a back 3, Xhaka & Partey form a pivot and Zinchenko Jesus Martinelli occupy the various zones of the Left Hand Side of the pitch. It's not as rigid of a system positionally as Pep's with the use of inverted fullbacks especially Xhaka and Zinchenko side.

Where was this energy when the team wasn't winning? stop being fake, the truth is you love Martinelli and Jesus because they defend with their pressing and takes the pressure off the midfielders. Nowadays all Arsenal defenders have to do is intercept as while, last season they had to pull and tackle opposition players because the attackers didn't help out defensively and put opposition buildups under stress and cause them to make wrong passes. Take Jesus and Martinelli out and Xhaka will do what he must to defend even if it's getting sent off

Coming from a Madridista, every team needs a character like Xhaka in your team like we used to have Sergio Ramos or Casemiro who wouldn't take your bs and sit down like a good boy!
