Apparently I heard a rumour, i don't know if it's fact, but Arsenal is the only team in the top 4 divisions of England, to not be named after the neighborhood where they are from.

Average coach. No champions league and many years with Arsenal without winning the premier league and they got them many elite players. He lives off that one season with arsenal that were unbeatable. But they couldn't beat barsa in the champions.

Good point. I think with Fergie, it was fierce. Extremely fierce at times. But with Mourinho, it was toxic at the worst of times. Their relationship is better now, but scars don't heal easy.

It was sad to watch his decline in the second half of his time at Arsenal, but whenever you listen to him it’s impossible to dislike him.

Arsene Wenger is simply a very special human being who has had a great influence on so many lives both in and outside Football. ..it was great to see him so relaxed ..please name a stand after him

And despite that decade of bitter rivalry, when Wenger retired he was awarded a retirement present on the pitch @ Old Trafford from Manchester United. A very classy act to a class man!

I can listen to Wenger talk all day and honestly I would be left wanting more. Growing up as a Man Utd fan and living through the rivalry of Sir Alex Vs Wenger, I hated Wenger a lot. But after their retirements, I started appreciating Wenger and realised how much of a philosopher he is. He isn't some glorified luxury manager unlike some ( you guys know who Im talking about), but a gentleman, a philosopher and an incredible manager. I would pay thousands just to see Sir Alex, Arsene and Jose together in a room talking about football

Love Arsene Wenger, very intelligent and classy man. As a Man Utd fan I have to say the rivalry with Arsenal from the mid 90's until the mid 2000's was a fantastic time in football and Arsenal were a phenomenal team. The football they played was superb and it brought the best out of my team too.

How on earth does Arsene Wenger not have a sir next his name he was class and he revolutionised the English game from a Liverpool fans perspective

Wenger taking responsibility for the "fight" is just pure class...I watched the match, Wenger just wanted to have a word with the 4th official about a decision he didn't like, the official happened to be standing around the Chelsea technical area Jose used that as an excuse to push Wenger back, Wenger barley resisted. For him to bore claim he "started the fight" is just pure class!

NIce to see a side to Wenger outside of football. Not an Arsenal fan but he is a class act whose team of Henry, Bergkamp, Pires etc played some amazing football.

I do not support Arsenal but I have to respect the fact that Arsene did so much for them. He should be considered one of the best managers in the history of English football. That man had so much opportunities to coach and help World-Class or even legendary players develop too, just look at the Invincibles team, Robin van Persie, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mesut Ozil in his Arsenal prime... the list goes on. He is one hell of a manager and if I was a professional footballer, I would've loved to be coached by a manager like him.
