"About the black barrel set (24 and 32 acrylic sets):
1. The 24 set is a companion set of 32 acrylic set.

There are more basic colors in the 32 set and the 24 set has more cool tone colors. They can complement each other.
2. The black barrel set is non-water-proof and not permanent on nonporous surfaces. It works well on porous surfaces.
About the white barrel set: 30 pastel colors set and 30 general colors set

They are the same series. They are permanent and water-proof on multi-surface.

lot of useful testing done for us 🙂 i like the colours of the sets and they are not that expensive here so wouod give them a try once i run out of markers

Would be nice to see art work actually done with these to see them in action
I found out the hard way that the black barrel markers are not acrylic- they are actually ink that smears if water gets on them after they are dry. Artxx should not be calling them acrylic markers, in fact if you go to their website and look up these markers it says they are ink based. Kathy B.
Any pigment info?
