More Rosa videos! Thanks
So beautiful!
I love how you choose your colors, I love the way your cats tell a story, and I love the flow of your videos. There are never any places where I feel myself wanting to wander. What sketchbook do you use? It looks amazing. ❤
another amazing review ☺☺
Thank you for making these videos! I'm back to using KZread after a year or so, and I'm happy to see you're still around :) no one informs as much as you!
Thank you so much! :D And welcome back!
OMG ARE THOSE STEDE & ED STICKERS?!?!? I love the color wheel with the golden yellow, i just got a sample of PY110 from daniel smith and this makes me even more excited to try it out!! rosa gallery watercolors look wonderful, on my wishlist for some day :> also the atmospheric effect with the wisteria(?) you painted is really beautiful, and the cat too :3
I love my Sonnets and White Nights (in St. Petersburg). Im def not gonna abandon them or stop buying them because of stupid politics. I was curious about the Rosa studio watercolors, but I remember some wc artists here on yt not liking them, so I stayed away from them. How similar are these to the White Nights? And did you ever try the studio version?
ooh very pretty colours🥰the madder rose is a gorgeous pink colour
Lovely painting :3
Always love to see some Rosa video, lovely paintings, thank you Eve! ❤
Ok, I came to watch Rosa review but you showed such beautiful drawings there that I went to your channel. Goooosh! I'm so glad you have sketchbook reviews. This is something incredible! It's like I'm watching fairy-tale cartoons from my childhood - cozy, harmonious, charming. I’ve been missing this feeling for so long 😭 Thank you so much!
I am so grateful to youtube for recommending me your video! Because I'm currently playing with my Rosa paints and want to buy more colors. And you picked such a beautiful palette, omg! Now I want to buy them all haha
I really love my Rosa gallery set of 24 which I bought for exactly the reasons you described. It came as a set of 12 with space to customise, and at the price which was very affordable who could resist, especially as they had some unusual mixes and pigments. They paint out well but because quite a lot of their colours are multi pigment they are not always bst for layering a lot, though if you stick to single pigments they will happily do so. They are superflowy,, and you can get very interesting effects from letting them mix on the paper. In fact, this can become interesting in its own right! There are some lovely muted colours too, I love the caput mortuum, and I am always interested in neutrals like the grey. I also really like the umber, for some reason I bought two. Never regretted buying this brand. I would buy more of their individual colours if I didn’t already have more paint than I could ever use! Your little paint outs are super, I like the one you like least it shows the vibrancy of these colours. Thanks for the interesting video, I liked that cobalt blue too… it is different from most, sort of not so opaque…
You picked such a lovely color selection! The cat sketch looks super cute
Beautiful color selection you chose! I love my Rosa Gallery watercolors. ❤
You have no idea how happy I am that you wrote this comment! Thanks to it I saw your channel. And you have so many reviews of Rosa paints, and I am currently looking for new colors for my collection, and oooooh I think I know what I'll be doing tonight
@@user-kd5qg5ib4g aw, nice, thank you! 😊
I really like my Rosa Gallery colours. Them being honey based, makes them so sticky. But that's the only con as vibrancy, blendability and colour range outweight that con.
yaaaay beautiful pigments
Same favorites 😊 eventhough in different brands. Thanks for the video!
Love my Rosa set. I spend time in Czech & found a shop where I can buy them in person, which is a luxury & makes them even more affordable. 😊
Your Information are very useful always. Thanks. Please sent me some Information about catober 2025.
Oh, lovely little paintings in this review.💞
Years ago I got some Rosa Gallery tubes. They're my second favourite paints, after Aquarius. And they are some of the most intense painta I have. Wouldn't recommend them for beginners, because after I haven't painted for a while starting again with these is a struggle, but for the somewhat experienced painter I recommend it greatly.
hi what exactly do you find tricky about those paint? they do look petty nice.
@@mathilda6763 They are very nice. I find them tricky when out of practice because they are insanely pigmented, which makes it difficult to control for a beginner.
Slava Ukraine!
A new video 🎉🎉🎉
What is the better set ? A( PASTEL) OR B ( general)
It really depends on your preferences! Pick the one that has more of your favorite colors in it :)
Honestly Holbein ate q ❤
What do you mean?
@@EveBolt I meant Holbein was the best in a “Gen-Z” style language 😂
Eve, this is SO helpful! Thank you for taking so much time to make videos like these…it’s very much appreciated, and an invaluable resource for us pigment nerds! 💕 I find it especially useful with the RS line, as they continue releasing more (& more, & more, & more) beautiful colors to an already massive line. I love them, but wish they were available at far more retailers…and at their earlier prices, while we’re dreaming…😂 THIS is the line that broke me, swatch-wise. I’m now making ATC cards for all my watercolors, 100% because my brain couldn’t handle the out-of-order colors from various releases over the years. 🤦🏻♀️ (To be fair, it seems even THEY can’t keep up with it…no matter when I order a color chart, it’s always missing pigments released some time ago!) Yet ANOTHER example of how incredibly useful your videos are. 😊 Thank you, as always, Eve…you’re the best! 🤗💕
Thank you so much! :D I've found that having sheets with all the swatches like this on them is handy for tracking quickly what I have, what came when, etc. It's not in the most useful order color-wise but it's really practical to me. I have the pigment info on a vellum sheet that I can overlay on the swatches. I tried many methods of swatching over the years and I haven't found THE right one, but this is so far the most useful one. And yeah, Roman Szmal is the most exciting thing to happen to watercolours in years :D
Audio 😢
Please elaborate?
So nice to watch! 😍
Yay! Thank you :D
I love those 2 sennelier colors colbalt green and caput mortum, i also mix them
Would have liked pigment information
I'll keep that in mind for future swatch comparison videos! Thank you! :)
@@EveBolt good video though. I love Roman Szmal
Beautiful colors 😍
Please send me more Information about catober 2024.
Thanks for all your very good Information. Like you I love to draw cats. About your KZread Channel I get Information about catober like inktober.
3:27 I have no thoughts. Oh wait, my brain is switched off 😅. Dust it off, switch it on 💥💨. There we go 😃. So how does PBr48 compare to PBr24? I imagine PBr24 is a bit more yellow?
Thanks for the comparison, very useful to see them side by side. I definitely need another metal tin to host more colors now! 🤣 I am sold on both greens as well as the blue light. 🥰
im so excited to try the cobalt blue light!
This case is a bit gimmicky but I do like slide out mixing trays. They wasted too much space for holding the half pans of paint, though. I wish someone would create a sectioned portable mixing tray made of porcelain - thin to keep lightweight but backed with perhaps stainless steel for support. I just love the way porcelain doesn’t bead up the watercolor mixes and cleans so beautifully! My niece is a potter so maybe I can get her to create something!
Hi, Mrs Eve. Thanks for your work on KZread and Instagram Do you know the Great cat draws by Jan Tetter? Please let me know all about the rules of catober 2024. It would Great for me to send my own cat draws to catober. Please send me more Information 😊
Interesting! That titanium brown looks color I might get at some point. Looks very handy for painting animals.
I agree! I think it would work as a "fawn" color, or a good base for it :)
I have one of the first sets of Van Gogh. The 12 colors.
That's a good one :)
Oh wow 😮
This is so relaxing, I love to paint as I watched your vids ☺☺
Thank you so much! ☺️ I'm happy to keep you company as you paint :3
Damn! Pretty packaging.
Truly! :D
The mix of the voice, accent and works is a total ASMR thing! And useful one in addition🥰
Glad you think so! Thank you! :D
I like all three colors and will add them to my Roman Szmalset. Thanks for the video
You're welcome! I'm glad you like all three of them! :D
Oooh, my goodness. Thank you for sharing, Eve!
And thank you for watching! (They need a bunny edition, if they don't have one already! XD)
@@EveBolt I was thinking the exact same thing! 😆
What a fun look at some gorgeous notebooks! I’ve not heard of this company before, but now I will check them out!
Thank you! :D I really like their books! But at the same time, they are not the cheapest so if I hadn't won one I'm not sure I'd have splurged on one (without knowing more about the paper). I feel like most of the reviews I've seen don't really talk about the paper qualities and focus on aesthetics.
I LOVE Notebook Therapy, their stuff is always the highest quality, including paper, but i find them better for journaling because i dont like any pattern for drawings. i do wish they did plain notebooks. Btw I use one of those as a love book for me and my husband, we leave little letters in there with dried flowers and pictures and say something nice about eachother 🥰
A love book is such a fun idea! That's lovely! :3 And I agree, I want a plain one too. Same paper but plain. I'd be all over that XD
Terrific review of a notebook company I’ve never heard of! Thank you! In your opinion, would this be a good notebook for fountain pen ink?
Absolutely! The cat face drawings were done with a pen filled with fountain pen ink and it worked wonderfully. And thank you :)
