Making flint points, bows or clay pots is art because no two are alike. Here i make a one of a kind clay chimney to straighten my arrow shafts.

Great video my friend and I love what you come up with. I have a metal 5 gal bucket that I cut down shorter and lined with clay with the top on and to holes cut a crossed from each other to pass the arrow thru. but I love this thanks for sharing.

I've been looking for a reason to mess with some clay. Thanks for the inspiration think I'll try making a basket and molding the clay around it. I'll experiment on your experiment. LoL

Awsome video thad! If possible could you do a video on drilling out hardwood shafts to use foreshafts? I really struggle building and using forshafts with wild rose here in Virginia. Thanks!

That turned out great Thad! I’m with you on the clay work, I love knapping and making bows and arrows but that pottery is frustrating! You and Billy should come up to the knapin at Schiele museum in Gastonia NC. August 5-7. Absolutely can’t wait for your Morrow Mountain vide also!!

Thanks Alan. I would like to go to Gastonia. I was there back many years ago and meet Steve Watts. It was fun. I believe I am doing a seminar that week. Thanks anyway.
