Post season can still be fun roaming the woods with your primitive bow and arrows. Just shooting pine cones and stumps. Looking for post season deer sign and antler drops.
Жүктеу.....

I got your full circle dvd in my late teens. I turn 31 in may and I’ve been building bows and hunting Iowa whitetails every year since I watched your video. Just wanted to say thank you Thad for being generous with your knowledge and sharing it with us all. Wishing you and yours all the best-Ethan

I love stump shooting with my primitive bow! My oldest son and I went and shot the 3d course Monday at Dead Zero shooting park in Spencer Tn. He took his crossbow and I took my primitive hickory bow. We had a ball. Love your videos Thad! Watching you on KZread inspired me to build my first bow. Love your DVDs also. Full Circle is my favorite!

You should see this property that I bought. I have been and will continue to clean this land for as long as I can. You just would not believe the utter disrespect for nature that these people wrought on this land. We used to clean up land years ago when I was in the scouts and it looks like I am beset with the biggest cleanup of all. The good side of the story is I have a great diversity of hardwoods and should find a special bow in there somewhere.

Hey Thad, thanks for this video. I love bow hunting so very much. I've been wanting to make a real nice fire hardened hickory bow to hunt with. My problem is that I don't have access to a standing wood supply so that I can get started in making them? Do you have any ideas that would help me with this problem of finding good staves? Thanks for any help. Southeastern North Carolina

Gregory maybe you could ask around. When you see people starting to clear land. Some government land or paper corporations may let someone harvest staves. Get the message out locally thru Facebook or find local bow makers that may have access to bow wood. Post your needs on the bow forums on Facebook. Lots of primitive bow making forums and guys that have wood .
