Hey there Guys , I picked up a Trx4 sport 2 months ago, because of your Recommendations. And upgraded it after watching your videos. Servo, Esc, Tires , Motor, Etc. And 3 weeks ago I picked up Arrma Kraton 4s. I love it. Very fast. Its kind of funny that you got your first Arrma also. Thanks. RC Review.

I have no self control and impulse bought one at my LHS today. I ran it very quickly outside this evening (asphalt with curbs and grass) and I'm already impressed. I've had a 2wd brushless slash for about 6 years now and the difference between is massive. I can't wait to really get on it tomorrow.

I have been pretty impressed myself. I put a better servo in mine and on loose dirt/gravel I can hold the throttle wide open and give max steering input one way and it will just turn on a dime in a pretty insanely tight turning radius. I just have a little firma 85 setup on it currently though. I'm sure it would be a little more dicey with an actual blx setup. I plan on putting my system from my big rock into it soon.
Love your channel. Great to see that you actually are willing to go out of your comfort zone and do a "speed" basher instead of just crawling. Looks like you have to get some parity with your background shelves. Man that's alot of trail/ crawlers🤣🤣🤣. Great review, keep up the good work, and stay safe out there. Aloha🤙
Great job on the video and especially about re-gearing to the 15t pinion. I will be getting one soon and will definitely replace that pinion gear. I used to buy lots of Traxxas models in the past but now they support professional driver's which is fine for them. But I'm not paying their salaries so I'm building my collection with Arrma now....... Thanks so much for the informative video's ....... :)
I ordered the V3 version of this truck yesterday and watched this video for the first time tonight. I recently got a Team Associated ProSC10 2WD brushless truck which I really like and I wanted something similar in 4WD. Looks like I made a wise choice..

Very good detailed review
I got a blx for my stepson for Xmas as a way to get him into rc and reintroduce myself to the hobby. Since I’ve gotten an xmaxx, trx4m, and rehabbed a 4tec that he already had. Pound for pound, dollar for dollar, the senton is the best. It’s shockingly fast with speed hawks for rubber.
The senton 3s blx was my 1st rc. I’ve put it through hell!!! Replaced the chassis from a hard hit to the belly against thick plywood, a bumper, 4 tires and the body. Worth every penny!! Especially with 2.8 wheels

You are very correct about the value aspect about Arrma, and the Senton in particular. Because the Slash is so entrenched in the community, and is generally considered the 'go-to' (at least starter) SC truck, Arrma went to great lengths to top Traxxas in most areas, whilst keeping the price lower.

Changing the wheels on the Senton gives you a totally different experience. If you go with big tires, make sure to get the 13t pinion while you are at it. You may also find that replacing the A arms with RPM arms is strongly recommended if you continue to bash big, mine have been amazing. Thank you for a trustworthy review. I am new to this and i try to educate myself. Like with everything today there is so much fluff out there about everything. You seem to be honest and reasonable about it all. I am in to it with 4 rc cars, from the WLP little truck (so much fun) up to 2 buggies (Wltoys and HSP) and finally my 1/10 HSP SCT. Well all my cars very in quality, even the same brand. The most expensive sct is junk, so much play in all the suspension parts, sad (HSP). Yes seems like better steering servos, some shock oil and diff maintenance is part of the game, but if you have junk chassis you have junk. The new version on this Senton now is the goal, in Indonesia it is 2x or more of what I paid for my cars but I kind of have junk. They run like stink, but the whole hobby grade experience is out the door. I was careful buying my cars, I watched other reviews....well they were just fluff. I suggest you guys buy the real things, again thx for good reviews. And yes 15 gear pinion is on my wish list. Running my Chinese junk on 2s brushless is fast enough for this guy.

Armma is made in China too! Basically all RC stuff is made in China. We have had issues buying brand new arrmas because of what we assume is lack of quality control. It certainly is better quality then the cheap stuff on bang good but not by a huge margin. I recently bought a 30 dollar Chinese brushless 3660 Goolrc motor for my 3s granite and figured it would suck for that price, but I was blown away with how fast and powerful it is. I’m not buying name brand motors anymore, that’s for sure. Some parts and cars are ok to get cheap, some aren’t, it’s a learning experience.

Brushless motors are typically 20% faster than brushed, but require a brushless ESC. Some Brushless use a sensor to determine which of the 4 poles to run current through. Brushed motors wear down because the brushes scrape against the armature, and the armature contact points degrade over time. The advantage to brushed motors, is they tend to be cheaper.

Hello, my name is Andree and I come from Germany. I'm going to use this latest video to ask my question. I don't have that much experience with crawlers yet, but I'm reading in. Now I came across your channel and I really enjoy watching your videos. Since you also show a lot of the TRX4, I wanted to ask if you can give information about the G500 4x4 in a video. What are the differences from the Bronco? Since the G500 is cheaper, it should be more than just the body, right? Or maybe it even makes sense to buy the G500 cheaply and then make another body on it? I would appreciate a video or just an answer. Greetings Andree

Luckily everything but the a arms are super durable and rpm has you covered on the cheap. The problem is that the o-rings are not compressed enough in the shock cartridge Use one stock o-ring and three 2.6x7x2.2 o-rings (eBay/Amazon) in each cartridge with a lot of green slime/o-ring grease when you rebuild them. Using thicker oil than stock can also help too. Stock is 500 cSt for the Typhon 3s. I used 900/800 front/rear
5:12. Right on. So many times you see people switch out parts for metal upgrades here & there. They think their rig is getting better. All they're doing is making it heavier & transferring those impacts to a different part which will then break. If anything, I want my basher rig light and flexible. If any part of it is a weak point or might tend to break, I'd prefer that part be on the outer side of the rig or something that's quick & easy to replace vs say a more internal part that will take more time.

Adding metal parts is a very tricky situation. The manufacturers spend a lot of time and effort creating durable models. Upgrading to shiny aluminum parts is so hard to resist. I've had to learn the hard way. I've learned that eplacing an inexpensive break away part after a crash sure beats a serious teardown , troubleshooting and rebuild. I agree a week spot is essential in the drivetrain and Suspension or the repairs get really expensive lol There's no substitute for experience . In other words I agree 100%

Yes. V3 is even better
15t pinion?! Too sensible 😁 I would go for the adjustable motor mount and get an 18t pinion so you can pull off some backflips 👌 Get a 6s Outcast or Notorious next. You will NOT REGRET IT 💪
Did it broke in 15min?
Let’s goooooo

No way that can be better than your slash. I'm no fan boy but my lcg 4x4 slash ultimate with all the included hop ups is my all around go to rc. As far as durability well that's going to be based on many factors, driver, where you drive , how you drive, maintenance, on and on etc. Reason I like it so much is you can switch it up so easy. Monster truck , drag car, (well not so much with 4x4 by the rules) but I still do it. And SC racing you don't need all the hyped top speed of any of these crazy advertised brands, you'll never need it on the track or bashing. I see all these videos on here and people post 1 top speed vid the rest are all like what you were doing in this video, having fun. I don't get it. People just want to be able to say they can do 85 mph show it on gps and all the rest of their vids have nothing to do with top speed. ??? Maybe I'm just odd lol.
I've been thinking about getting this truck for a while I think you just sold it for me. One question. How hard is it to get parts For this truck?

All the parts seem to be at Amainhobbies and Horizon Hobbies so it's no problem in the US.

Really appreciate that. Summer revenue and Covid supply chain problem are terrible for us.
