Generally aggressive offroad tires and speed runs don't mix.. lol.

i did that conversion on mine some time back, i also cut the fenders on the body, i love the way it drives now, it wheelies on demand, and it jumps great, soft on the landings, best thing ever :)

I love what you're doing with this Mojave! I've seen other people do something similar with their Outcast and I just really love the look. I actually set up my brushless T-Maxx with the Slash body way before I saw other people's videos. I only have mine on 4s and it seems just about as uncontrollable as your Monster Mojave!

Looks cool. I just got the mojave to try something different than a monster truck and it's a blast. Outcast 6s is still my fave.

That flip was awesome. Truck has some balls man. I have a 2wd slash that I nick named project sketchy because it drives like a mustang leaving a cars and coffee. Just a castle creation motor and esc and 3s lipo and the hi speed gear the truck came with.

Just bought one. I ordered belted tires as well. Can't wait! Nice vid! Keep bashing!

That thing is a beast Love those tires not great for speed runs lol but they are diggers for sure Makes the truck look tuff also That first tumble wumble down the front lawn was brutal I just knew a A arm or something was going to snap and a wheel was going to go flying off lol but it didn't Tuff truck for sure

With those temps I’d run it or maybe go down to a 19 or so to help control that beast.. good build brother 👍

I converted my mojave to a monster felony by putting badlands for a typhon and modding a felony body . 92 mph on road 86 off . 6s castle 26 tooth pinion on a I think 58 spur I forget sold it a bit ago but thing rips

That was a awesome flip, with no damage. I don’t know what your esc punch setting is at but when my cars start that wheeling after it is already running at about half speed I turn my punch way down that gives me more speed control.

Right. This is just the testing phase. I need to see all aspects of how this conversion is before I change things. I know my punch level is RIDICULOUSLY high on my XMAXX🤪🤣🤪🤣🤪🤣

I have been interested in those tires for a while now though. Few tires with that pattern these days. The Proline badland mx, and the traxxas sledgehammers are a couple.

See, should have waited, lol, there's the temp gun. 130 is nothing. That's almost normal operating temps. Just keep an eye on the rest. Too tall of gearing will cause the esc and battery to work harder, not the motor.

What kind of tires you have on that majave?

From my perspective that was going much faster than the speeds you got...those numbers can’t be right...lol...if temps are good then some throttle control and if you want that extra power it’s there... kinda like 4 cylinder or 8 ??? That’s my opinion but either way nice run!!!

Hugely dependant on your goal. I would highly recommend Castle for your ESC such as the MMX or the 2 but beyond that motor choice is again dependant on your goal.

Bro, definitely buy the Mojave RTR. It's all you'll need for awhile and won't be breaking all the time. After you've got some time in you'll probably know if the much bigger RC trucks are right for you. The Arrma Senton is a great beginner in a 1/10 scale also if you go that size. -mojave is 1/7.

@@fortgreeneprojects1 I would flirt with the idea of getting him the Senton from Arrma, or real fun for him may be the big wheeled Big Rock from Arrma. Simple setups to learn about RC. These two trucks he'll be able to bash around and wont grow out of them to fast. Just keep the speed button on the controller at 50%. Also these trucks have easy program ESC to lower power even more. -Let me know how it goes👍😁

Idk if I can bring myself to cut up my mojave body lol...I love my mojave its one of my most fun durable trucks.. I have added some m2c chassi braces and rear shock tower brace? And the m2c hub extenders/double nut hexes and there pillow ball caps. But still running stock electronics and stock pinion. Are u running the speed pinion ? My mojave is V1 lol.. got it at release

@@rcguygarage yeah the way its designed and set up its like pure awesome.. the way it squats and leans and soakes up bumps... it has to be one of best built best designed rc trucks I've ever owned and or ever seen... I never broke it prior to upgrading it just figured why not add a lil more peace of mind.. I mite try gearing mine up too but to be honest it rips on stock gearing..

My mojave hitted 105 kmh (65 mph) with louise t apollos and damn, this thing is mooving😂 it can do more but every time when i reached 105 kmh this thing just turned into a plane and almost destroyed itself

guy you better not change that pinion you gota use to race earls armma duel motor infraction hes got competition ...that mojave is wicked sweet the way you got it i dont know i would leave it and throw gamechanger on it and take it to your hot spot spot for speed bashing

its fast but never as fast as a team corally. it would eat this Arrma senton's lunch, on just stocks never mind if you upgrade them, you'd really see how fast it is, the true beast mode of RC cars. Better control, handle and acceleration. New King on the block.

Right except my Spektrum 1650kv went nuclear with over 300° run temp yes it still runs. DEFINITELY NOT recommended. 👍💯👊
