ESC problems, I see it all the time in the forums. It gets too hot and cuts out over and over. Great video, I don't know what packs you're using but I watched a guy pull 98MPH with the 27 tooth and 150C batteries installed and no cutouts come to think of it. You're rock steady on this beast.

Man I'm definitely getting into it just started doing upgrades on my felony I'm throwing a Mamba Monster X 8s in there I put in a center spool 39 tooth 28 tooth pinion an aluminum center driveshaft support and we're going to beat the living heck out of the stock motor until it pops and we'll see where we get with that then we'll move on I'm getting hooked keep putting out the content

That thing is crazy Fast ,,I love it

@@rcguygarageThe battery voltage is dropping under heavy load(tall gears and full throttle). A higher mah battery or dual batteries in parallel will help prevent voltage drop. Maybe a bigger capacitor pack will help with the voltage drop too.

These guys are right but you don't need a cat pack what you need to do is just go higher on your milliamps at least 6500 better if you want it not to cut out... the best way is 2 run 2 6s batteries in parallel that's how I do mine never cut out or two 3s batteries but they both have to have at least over 6,000 milliamps

Right but please understand that my videos take a fully stock vehicle and push the limits within that and slowly change or modify showing the steps and what the results are. I could most definitely tear out all electrics throw in a mmx8 with a 2028 on a 40t pinion and try for 200mph but there's already lots of people doing just that. I'm just interested in showing the progress and the positive or negative results. 👍🔥👊

@@rcguygarage Indeed. 90mph on a 2wd rustler feels nuts at that for my pb. Many people have been getting the cutt off on high speed rips. That amp draw is reaching the maxx on the esc seems like. A mamba x sounds perfect 😎🔥

Well mine it was the ESC waiting on Horizon to send me a replacement and 2 replacement smart batteries. Not only did the ESC take a crap on my but it killed 2 batteries at the same time. 1st time I ran the car..

I am not a speedrun guru however I do know a little bit about batteries. One possible (most likely) explanation for a cutout is your battery can't keep up with the amp draw your ESC is requesting. Your ESC is asking for a certain amount of power that your battery/batteries can't deliver and so you experience a small "brownout". There is no regulatory commission checking on what battery companies claim on their stickers. They literally could claim 200C battery and there is no governing body with a set of regulations to validate such claims. Especially with batteries being imported from China. This is a common practice with 18650 20700 and 21700 lithium ion batteries. They claim 40 amp battery which is totally impossible with an 18650. Btw great vid man

I believe a great body shell every felony/infraction owner should buy is the Corvette C8 Body Shell, it's got amazing air dynamics, and it comes with a front splitter 🙂

I'm running the C8 on my infraction right now. I bought a bitty design viper body for it but after doing some upgrades to it and it now doing 100+ mph with it, I will be keeping the C8 body. I don't think the viper body will perform any where close to the C8. I agree with you 100%. The C8 is perfect for higher speeds on these cars.

@@rcguygarage It is addictive...they sound like an F1 car going by..sort of..lol. I just did my personal best of 121Mph/194Kph a few days ago. I held the trigger too long and couldnt stop. I blew through the light at the end of this road doing 60mph and lost sight of the car. It kept going straight and bounced off a curb and hit another on the other side of the road...😣

Any way you slice it running in a mall parking lot or public boulevard is a huge liability $$ and safety risk if something goes tragically wrong. Unless you own an air strip for speed runs or large property for bashing running in a public spot is hazardous...either are not 100% controllable closed course situations. But I guess that risk and uncertainty is also what contributes to the adrenaline rush...lol. I'm thinking at the speeds I'm at now I need to get out to my country road speedrun spot sooner rather than later...hahaha. You need a bigger space now too brother. 😎

Mine was doing the same thing and it was 1 of my batteries was trash. Your ESC is trying to pull more power at full throttle than ur pack can provide. Maybe try using dual battery pack with it.

I heard cogging first time you pulled the trigger at slow speed. Need cap pack with that gearing. It will stop cogging and cut out. Esc can’t handle that load.

Rolled on trigger more slowly so that the ESC didn't see the power drop

Nice rip maybe try using two 3s packs instead of one 6s it might help stabilize the car better that’s just my opinion but great video.💯💯💯👍👍👍👍

It's planted with that BRICK in there but yes I'm sure that as POWAH goes up I'm going to go on the balance train

It's capable of doing 180 with a different body and a spool with some minor mods and different electronics...180+ Limitless builds are pretty common and it is essentially the same car.

Limitless doesn’t come with a motor when you buy it so your top speed is currently 0. It will sound different though. It’ll sound like this:

Just a little more and the car will crackle and disappear leaving two flame tracks.

@@rcguygarage I have mine set at 7 and it seems to work descent enough. Reason I asked is that I am going to attempt some speed runs and was curious. Last time I tried my grub screw came out and got caught between pinion teeth and the motor mount.

Dude. You have a HBR graphene 100c batt, that esc wont handle that discharge after 2 passes ...thats why keeps cutting out.. You need a 160amp esc ,try the hexfly HEX 6. 8S .best in the market. also put some grp s-7 tyres Are you using stock motor and stock spur gear ? Is that the stock felony body. I dont see the rear wing ..did you take it out ?

Right. Remember this is to show OTB then push to its limits in stock form THEN modify up from there. Some people don't have a 1717 with a MMX8 to toss in🤣😂👍👊

@@rcguygarage just change your esc for the hexfly 6 8S version and no more cut off problems.. The grps s-7 will give you much more grip than the stock hoons..you will see it imediately..how does it handle without the rear wing ? Are there any carbon fiber upgrade wings for the felony ? . .
