Arriving In Canada: A Rusty British BMW Adventure

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Join me on a thrilling journey as I drive up through California with my imported, rusty BMW E46 diesel estate wagon. Despite the loud, rusty suspension and a broken thermostat, I finally make it to Canada. The adventure continues as I face numerous questions from Canadian border guards and even get a ticket from the Vancouver police. The excitement doesn’t end there-I board a ferry to the Sunshine Coast, a route with many incidents of accidents. Buckle up for an unforgettable ride!

Mate, I’ve seen the guy from the G-Wagon all over IG - the world is such a small place. Also beyond impressed that this car is still going - cracking job you’ve made it this far! 👌🏽

Gary Oldman at it again! It's still so wild that you took a ropey 3er to the US, mental.

Considering the history of that ferry, I hope you made it over okay. Did you know that Arsenal footballer Dennis Bergkamp used to have to take ferries to away European games as he had a fear of flying.

Cool! He was a nice bloke, I got really lucky to find him. I was waiting in traffic and just happen to look out of my window and saw a G wagon with a foreign number plate.

It's amazing that there are people who actually ship their cars all over the world and travel with them. That is just next level tourism. I really hope that shock mount isn't going to pierce through the chassis. The car really needs a repair, both this and a thermostat. How much do you plan to travel in Canada? I am wondering if E46 will last the entire journey without a repair.

Wow, what a great journey! I'ld love to see more about this warrior BMW. I'm so curious about its destiny there! In Canada the car import restrictions are set to 15yrs or less old cars, this should be ok on that front...

Unfortunately not. It was really interesting. I was over there 6 months doing various stuff with the BMW. It’s why I decided to record this trip, I can look back in the future after I come to realisation at just how ridiculous it was to ship a rusty old car halfway across the world and drive it to Alaska. 😂
