Arrano is a new generation engine in the 1,100 to 1,300 shp power range, perfectly suited for new four-to-six-tonne helicopters. The engine has been selected by Airbus to power the future H160 helicopter.
After its maiden flight on January 27th 2016, and following a test campaign of 10,000 hours, including 2,000 in flight with the H160, the Arrano received its type certification from EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) in June 2019.
