I dont know if we will ever have another golfer who has such a passion for the game of golf , such a passion for the game of life and such respect for OTHER people, in the process of playing both.

RIP Arnold. I followed you at the Hawaii Open on a Sunday in 1971 and watched your talk to your army of fans. So genuine and so personable with that great smile. Great memory of the king of golf.

His voice is one of those you instantly recognize. Before he came along, golf was a minor sport but because of him and tv, that changed and look what it has become today. The whole golfing world owes Arnie so much. What a great man.

A completely overrated player. He really had not competition after Hogan left until Nicklaus. Nicklaus was so good he left Palmer a footnote.*

Bull shiat. You don't win 62 times being over rated. There is a lot more competition today but there is also a lot more money feeding the mediocre players. In Arnie's day it was win or go home. There wasn't jet flying players finishing 17th place.

If you’re trying to say that the fields were light after Hogan through Jack, then that’s total bullshit. And Arnold was right there with the best of them, too!
