AFTER 14 YEARS, I FINALLY FOUND THIS CUT SCENE. I HAD THIS GAME WHEN I WAS A KID. AH, THE MEMORIES. My friend Kyle, and my brother always played this on rainy days or early mornings. So fun!

From the Army Men: Green Rogue website (thanks wayback machine!) "Green Rogue™ takes Army Men® warriors where they’ve never been before -- and probably weren’t meant to go." After playing the game, I couldn't agree more.

It's funny how, judging by the equipment and soldiers, the game is stylized to fit the 60's, but this scene makes it seem like it takes place in possibly 2100

The Army Men series has been through my whole life, and I still love it.

The long faced guy was General Tanenburg. He was also in command of the Tan army along with Plasto, and became the main leader after Plastro's death.

This experiment feels like something the Tan would do.

@@justinibarra357 I mean, if the Tan did it they wouldn't really worry about if the donors were hurt in the process. Grimm was, and it is outright stated that they had *repeatedly* gone over the risks. Assuming unethical also assumes that the Bravo Company Commandos were forced into being donors, whereas I think most of them might volunteer. Though another context consideration is that there's evidence that the Army Men don't reproduce like we do since a couple of the "Sarge's Heroes" 'verse games mention molds - it may be that the real experiment here wasn't the creation of the Omega Soldier per se but rather doing so with multiple living donors instead of raw materials...

I'd been searching for this game for years based on a fuzzy memory of this cut-scene. Didn't recall the name. Didn't recall the system. One day recently, Army Men: Green Rogue stares back at me from a shelf in the used games store, and I knew. Bought it without even checking. Glad to see the kid in me got it right.

I wish we could of found out more about Green Rogue

Literally Rambo. He goes out and DESTROYS the entire tan army. He is literal a one-man army.

Holy shit i haven't thought about that white hallway at the beginning for about 14 years but the second i saw it i remembered everything. This game was so fucking hard as a kid but i loved the challenge because most games i played then were boringly easy

Imagination is the only limits in this world.

I remember this game never beat it and it was fun and a little silly

I based my entire childhood on this game. See the intro makes me move!

Man, this is peak nostalgia for me ❤

2 things. 1) I just thought about them being Bravo team. Where's Alpha team? Have we been playing as this universe's B team? Where's the A team? 2) Did this game inspire X-Men Origins: Wolverine's Dead Pool?

I remember renting this and playing it alot the cut scene was epic but kinda creepy in certain parts the begging of it reminds of me armored core 2's human plus cutscene ..creepy

Really great animation for the time these people should deserve a medal, who created it.

I never heard of that untill I read that. I googled that series and it seams like 3DO did copy. All there missing is the bio-chips. Though with the whole Bravo Squad DNA inside green rouge it might as well be a bio-chip. Okay ya looks like they copied.

Blue i read it on the wiki the blue are more of a "spy" like faction

I found all the army men games really fun. I mean taht is the point afterall and while some of them weren't that great they were at least fun.

the blue army are sorta like mercenaries.they fight for who ever has the most money.but they mostly fight for the tans.

new games would be SO cool i miss em

how do i beat the final boss? i have been trying for about 6 hours now and i am so pissed off with this game i just want to beat it. i have gotten it to fall down and it lays their for a while but it gets up and kills me.

That general is Tannenberg loosely based on The WWII General Rommel.

Have to be honest, gameplay wise Armymen games were pretty terrible, but had some charm to them. By green rogue however it was as if they werent even trying, and sarge's war felt more designed out of the hate the creators ended up having for the franchise than an actual game

Least the first 3 and World War (PC ONLY) were actually kinda solid, the rest you can definitely tell there was some fatigue. Then this came and it was clear there was some hate in there, then Global Star and it somehow got WORSE.....
