You are a great teacher. Wish I could have had you when I was struggling through a Bell & Howell course back in the early 70's. Thanks for the info. I am degreed in Electronics Engineering Technology (retired), but the road to success was long and hard, especially with a family to support and Vietnam maladies kicking in. Thank you sir!

Thanks Sir, you make complicated concepts so easy to understand. I think you’ve just explained about sustained oscillations. Hopefully you’ll do a video about natural frequencies, do they apply to oscillators or just mechanical objects??

Great explanation. Can you make a video on Twin-T Oscillator and Quartz Crystal Oscillators?

What are the pros and cons of having the tank circuit at the base vs. at the collector? The output impedance of a transistor is rather low, so it will load the tuned circuit in the collector. Wouldn't it thus be better placed at the base?

Can u explain how radio transmitter circuits work according to electron flow and the function of electronics components used in this circuit. .... Thank you sir.....🙏

Thank you for sharing your knowledge, I built an oscillator that appears to be the Arminstrong, but the capacitor and coil are in the collector, but I was assured that it works, but it didn't, is there such an oscillator with this configuration?Thank you for sharing your knowledge, I built an oscillator that appears to be the Arminstrong, but the capacitor and coil are in the collector, but I was assured that it works, but it didn't, is there such an oscillator with this configuration?

Did you watch the whole episode?? Towards the end, he shifts the tank circuit from the base to the collector and you get the topology that you describe! When it does not work, probably you must reverse the connections of one of the two coils and then it will.

@@helmutheller1538 In the circuit I built, there is no feedback with the secondary connected to the base.

@@basicaodaeletronica If there is no feedback to the base, then this explains why it doesn't work. No, seriously, can you share your circuit diagram?
