Now Elden Ring is out and is a masterpiece. NOW is a good time to ask for more of this.

Seeing this after AC6 story trailer. I am prepared to be given a reason to exist to go back to our old ways, to live as I please and to die a senseless death.

"They're demanding immediate termination of you..." "To live as I please, and die a senseless death, that is who I am." Literally what sold me. Customization and online is awesome but the story mode severely lacks the stuff that made AC3 and it's successors awesome, even though verdict day had the potential.

like most of From Softs stuff it tells a compelling story in the backgroun. Tho tbh it only felt compelling to me bc i had the music DLC and got a rush of nostalgia seeing a NEXT to the remix of Cosmos. Beautiful feeling right there.

Panzerfaust26 This is 3 years too late but just to clarify it's "recommending immediate termination of use" which is what the AC computer says when you activate an ultimate weapon.

That trailer made me smile, glad to see the Armored Core series back for another round. This story seems a lot better this time around and the voice acting, as well as characters sound better too. I'm already impressed by the gameplay, I pay respects to From Software team and Kota Hoshino for that beautiful soundtrack.

And this was the last we ever saw of this series...

No matter ones opinion on how it stacks up to other AC games, I still can't forget that rush of childhood nostalgia and emotion that swept over me when I see a NEXT flying at me to the remix of Remember, and later on again to the remix of Cosmos. Fuckin amazing.

I feel like this has the potential to be Armored Core LR all over again, story wise. The Ravens are a diminishing breed of mercenaries, corporations hunting them down if they don't join them, a big shadow group behind the scenes orchestrating mass chaos. So many chills.

The guy who plays J (To live as I please, and die a senseless death) was a voice actor on Transformers Beast Wars. the guy who plays Chief, AKA: The Foundation is the guy who plays the riddler in the Arkham games and the Batman animated series.

I just want a pc port for the mod community and to have an arena. I have a gaming pc bit play all my games with a controller and nothing compares to armored core. The hours Ive spent since the original jampack demo on ps1 through all the iterations. Only other game that comes close to time spent is Final Fantasy. And I only played 5 of those and stopped after 10.

At least make a ps5 edition of this game you bastards!!!!!

What defines the Ravens. Former Military, blue collar workers, rich who bought their way in, and criminals...but all had potential. Pitted against each other in an arena but free to operate with whichever company we prefer. AC always did a great job of blurring the lines. IMO humbly Last Raven is the last game in chronological order. As it shows after years of bloodshed....civilian or corporatist scum...what happens when the Ravens (Veteran community) internationally grows tired of those who sit on the sideline and realizes our use is for the benefit and selfishness of others? They should remake every single game tbfh...

To see this franchise on its high and low points take it to this level of quality, I salute thee.

Bought it today, having more fun than I was playing 5. After giving the changes from earlier games a chance and remembering how tough it was learning the controls when I started on AC3 I respect the differences. Thought it was shitty initially, not so much now.

I am impressed! The voice acting is actually worth something, and they actually have a sensation of epic war in this.

No AC on PS4/X1 gen! Hopefully there will be one this PS5/XsX gen!

4:06 If you look closely, it appears there's an upgrade for one of the core parts. Resembles one of those reactive armor plates you usually see on CE armor parts.

Good to see I'm not the only one hoping for a better single player experience from this series.

Once again, Kota Hoshino's glorious compositions will be 70% of the reason I'm looking forward to an Armored Core game.

so i have checked the entire soundtrack of verdict day and the song in this trailer is not in it, anyone know this songs name cause i really like it.

It's impact force, I believe. One of the hidden stats view-able when you press a button on the assembly screens. Nothing else besides that number and the number of shots that hit affect the chance of stagger. (Hence, why shotguns stagger everything)

This looks fucking amazing, i want a pc version :(

well a few people tried to get a petition for it a while back. But no one knows that this game exists, and Armored Core doesn't have the same fan-base that Dark Souls has. It makes me sad, because I'd totally buy this game a third time for the PC.

***** Armored Core won't ever be made for the PC, because there's a stat/parameter called "Turning Ability" that has been present in every Armored Core game since the first. This single but very important stat heavily dictates the play style that your AC would have. Usually, the heavier the leg parts you have, the lower your turning ability is. Or, there are specific leg parts tuned for close range combat that have high turning ability, and leg parts that are better suited for long-range combat because of their low turning ability. The game was meant to be played on a console, using a controller. If you make Armored Core be played with a mouse and keyboard, this stat would have to be removed, and it wouldn't be an Armored Core game anymore. this Turning Ability stat is what makes Armored Core unique from other mech games.

ZeroStriker426 not it wouldnt have to be removed, you could just forcefully change the sensitivity for the different parts -.- just like most FPS games change your sensitivity for different levels of zoom in scopes or have a higher one in the tank MG rather than the main gun, that is no problem at all

ZeroStriker426 I've been playing AC since AC3, I know what the stats are. And turning speed is different to the speed at which the actual lock-on circle moves to the edge of its "movement" area before the AC actually needs to turn. You can still have different mouse sensitivities and limit the speed at which an AC moves. Plus, PCs can also use controllers.

kutkuknight if you're going to change the sensitivity of some parts, you might as well play the game with a controller, which defeats the purpose of having a game be ported from console to PC and to be played with a keyboard or mouse. having a giant robot do a 180-degree turn at 0.5 seconds because of a mouse flick is just crazy. And then people would complain that it's unrealistic.

Please tell me you can lose arms/legs/head again off your mechs.

R.I.P to the franchise that was abandoned by it's developers but found new life due to the fanbase reviving it with extra mechs and unique takes lol unfortunately I'll never experience it because I don't own a PC at the moment 😔

I like the fact the AC designs resemble more closer to almost all of the AC series parts to a degree.

Having actually enjoyed ACV as the second AC game I've ever played (the first being AC3), I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully there's a better story mode and single player, and more of it this time around. And I'm praying that the online community doesn't tank, so the cool multiplayer ideas can be realized and experienced. (Not that it was the game's fault in the first place)

There's ways to pull it off, but it's rather difficult. You can build a setup that'll support a 12-missile salvo and can stagger-lock the enemy in place to prevent them from dodging.

The quad-ACs right hand rifle (I presume) resembles the flamethrower arm weapon featured in SL.

This looks like it has the possibility to be the best Armored Core ever. Haven't seen one with this much story.

Considering the release date, I suspect otherwise. Even then, there's other stuff to look forward to. What really interest me are those mysterious towers. I have a feeling this is going to feel somewhat like Armored Core 2.

Only 90s kids will remember when Armored Core storylines left something to the imagination

FA has slightly less stable framerate on PS3 than Xbox 360, but most of the really big framerate issues were actually introduced by later patches. Switch Regulation to 1.20 and the SOMW and other AF missions are actually playable.

This game is out-of-control good. It's a near perfect synthesis of all the previous games in story, style, and game play. Be warned, there are major spoilers in the story that you'll actually care about; so if you want to have some really hype moments you need to get this before you run in to the spoilers.
