At the right hands, Ultimate weapons are the most DEVASTATING WEAPONS in a PvP match. Gamblers will LOVE this "all or nothing" kind of weapons...

i used to have a giga cannon build in AC5, it's really hit or miss tried the mass blade a few times too, but i could only get it to connect in 2v2s if my ally could push them into me while i got it warmed up xD

For those of you who could actually hit with the UWs, I salute you 🫡

I love how overed weapons literally rip the machine apart to use them

I like how all (or at least most) of these weapons made it into 6 in the form of a normal weapon of boss (BALTEUS), but damn did these feel more dangerous using.

Eardrums in jeopardy. Recommending immediate termination of audio.

A skilled pilot using a UW should be feared, not because of what they can do, but more of what they are willing to do.

You didn't even need to be especially skilled. Getting the kill wasn't the hard part. NOT DYING for the solid minute of having zero energy was the hard part. You basically needed to be babysat by your team if you used any of the melee ones due to close proximity to the enemy team afterwards.

I like how the mega blade uses actually accurate plasma physics

I really hope UW's return in some fashion in AC6. It was a great concept that gave you the feeling of "better make it count" type of gameplay.

In the trailer you do see an enemy AC use something fairly similar to Legion Pulse at least in design. The charge attack for the lance weapon also looks awfully similar to the Mega Blade.

As car as I'm aware, From mentioned that UW's wouldn't be seeing a return because it didn't fit AC6's overall design.

From the future here, alot of the functionalities and iconography of these ultimate weapons are in the game but either in a weaker form or in bosses: The Grind Blade became the Chainsaw The Mega Blade became the Laser Lance The Giga Cannon became the Karasawa’s third charge The Legion Pulse is now Balteus There’s nothing that is similar to the Giga Missiles though There’s also none similar to the Mass Blade _wait isn’t that a very important weapon in the story_

Fun fact: The Grind Blade is the only Overed Weapon where AC is required to sacrafice your left arm.

Those models and animations are still awesome. we can still make games that look like this just with better rez and everything else like animations, destruction, weather, particles, and scale, raised to the next level of gaming.

i'd love fromsoft to remaster the gen 4 and 5 games for modern systems, especially given the success of AC6 and remake/remasters in general i really miss AC5

I was brand new in pvp and I think I was hit with 3:42 and never went back

just so you know the heads just like when chief uses the UW laser cannon will have certain properties about them however not all heads transform

I remember seeing the giga cannon for the first time in the campaign...that bright flash scares me everytime and hearing it miss woooo shiver

I fondly remember using Legion Pulse and whatever the guns which drained enemy energy were called. Basically it made tanks unable to move while I activated the LP and boasted in for the kill! Gimmicky as all hell but oh-so satisfying

Yep, I'm going to hit NWGIX/v with the last UW in his second phase since he wants to play keep away with me. >_

We can see a version of the Legion Pulse and the Mega Blade on the gameplay trailer of 6. Hopefully they are usable and not just enemy exclusive.

Man actually landing a hit with a UW was hard as hell. It still is. I've managed just one and that was pure luck

Im kinda bummed theres no reskin of the Mass Blade thats just the pillar one of the ACV bosses used in their 2nd phase.

I really hope ultimate weapons make a return to AC6 in a future update

Fun fact: The charge rate of the ow varies on the core you use. (Forgot what was the stat name).

While I get why they did it, but the fact that they made their flagstone item for this game ACTIVELY that annoying to use! kinda killed it for me ngl. Take out some of the static and not peak the mic then I would be fine.

I would love to use UWs so much more if the voice lines weren’t turned to cancer.

It was nasty in 4v4: someone made me a tetra dual sniper, that could pop two missiles across the map and then use scan mode to gainits energy till the generator debuff went off. Didn't matter you had to stay in scan mode, cause you could just turn it off for a second and the shoulder fcs assist would just auto click the snipers. Thanks, Emperor and Pillow, that stuff was a blast.

Giga Missile is the coolest one to me.

It was made in 2010-2012, when every military-like game try to be very realistic. So FromSoft just follow the train and adding alot of screen effect so its look realistic.

As was mentioned, you just have to beat the final Story Mission to get a copy of each UW. You can keep doing this to make easy money as well.

Why is the animation painful to watch?

This game is so slow. I hope 6 will be faster again. A NEXT would have destroyed these ACs 10 Times before they would have deployed these weapons.

Yup! It's why I use the car door core a lot, really good for UWs.
