i love the fact that when everybody expected fromsoft to reinvent the wheel and make another souls game , they just said no we're continuing a franchise that's already cool and have a large fanbase and you'll be welcomed to join as newcomers

Nobody expected that(dunno where you got your information). Most ppl following Fromsoft news knew one of 3 games in development was an armoured core as confirmed by interviews and articles. And most people expected AC or Elden Ring dlc at the game awards if not both. Noone was expecting a new souls title, especially since elden ring is not yet finished and still in active development

Played Armored Core Since PS demo, literally had owned and played ever Armored Core that was available in Australia. I brought a PS5 expecting a Tekken 8. Now I get to "corrupt" my 3 daughters to the greatness that is Armored Core. Current list of Corruption includes, Anime, CCG, Gundam, Gunpla, Tekken, Burnout, Borderlands. I played all AC games except for 4 and 5 (and any possible expansions/spin offs of those 2) and I'm originally from Colombia. There are many AC fans outside of Japan; it's just such a good game, bro :)

Armored Core V's trailer is on another level! I remember that incredible shit like it was yesterday.

8:58 I get how similar scenes of warfare can look - especially at night, but this scene looks extremely similar to footage of the US bombardment of Baghdad in 2003's Shock and Awe operation. The explosions reflecting off the Tigris River especially.

Still remembered when AC5 trailer was out, I though it looks so real like an actual war footage. Oh, how time has flies.

Honestly. Parts of it, like the howitzer scene and the barbed wire looks almost photoreal. Mostly because of the lighting they went with. They made alot of the lighting washed out. Which is like real life. Lots of people don't realize just how much light hits our planet. So when we see games with color and a more vibrant shadows. We think it looks pretty but not real. Your statement about it looking real is very fair. It might be my favorite trailer but 4 has my favorite gameplay. Can't wait to see 6.

That's basically most of Armored Core stories. Oppressive AI decayed overlord instead of dying gods. Corrupted megacorperates instead of desolated kingdoms. And Ravens instead of undead heroes. Hell. Armored Core even have their version of poison swamp called redioactive zone.

3 really pushed that CGI envelope. I remember showing friends it and most people went "wtf is this game" and "wtf this intro is so good." Still my favorite as well. 6 Looks like it's bringing that generation of AC's back and i'm hyped.

@@Xeil Part of the trailer showed a mech swapping grabbing weapon off the back that was rotated to it like 5 did with it's weapon swap system. Wouldn't be surprised to see if game is set in future of 4 and 5 world. 4 had more advanced Next than 5. These ones look like a mix of 3 and 5 making me think stuff just got improved.

Last Raven's Intro was probably my most intense one. There's nothing more exciting than to see your last moments with a laser blade to the face.

I lobe the trailee for 5. Its just, perfect mechs with military vibe lol

Core memory's unlocked! This brings back so many nostalgic memories.

I've been playing AC since the 1990's, nobody here understands how exhilarating this upcoming release is...FromSoftware purposefully took a hiatus from AC due to lack of sales. AC used to be popular in the late 90's/early 2000's, but each title released in the following years was hit with "mixed reviews" - FromSoftware realized it was best to take a break from AC and focus on Dark Souls...Now that Dark Souls is becoming "repetitive" and Elden Ring is the epitome of the franchise, FromSoftware made a smart move by revisiting the past and is attempting to reawaken the dead...Instead of having a group of people who have been playing AC since the 90's (like myself), now we have a massive influx of players who are interested in AC simply because of its association with FromSoftware and Dark Souls. The first AC game I ever played was Armored Core Master of Arena for PSX lol - All I can say is I'm excited, it excites me to see these reaction videos because the majority of you guys never even heard of AC until this trailer. Please don't take what I say personally, people like me have been dying for another AC game, so please support it!

My brother. Hop on ps2 and play AC2, AC3, and AC silent line. Last raven is also very good. Those games were so far ahead of their time and I pretty much exclusively dedicated my childhood to them.

As a shot creator for vfx films, I am impressed mostly by the AC3 and 5 trailers, not counting the new one which obviously is amazing. Eastern animation is known for its high-speed action and camerawork, which is clearly demonstrated here. I have always thought mechs were an awesome concept, but I never got into them - any Gundam series failed to get me excited to invest more than a few episodes. But AC is looking outstanding. Truly excited to learn more about this game and franchise.

reason why I found out about this game franchise: a waifu version of one of the mechs(White-glint if I remember correctly) a novel or fanfiction about a guy reincarnated with his models of planes, tanks and mechs from multiple games such as Ace Combat and Armoured Core yeah what a great way to find about a good game franchise

Basically what I’m getting from these trailers and some comments even outside this video, is that the original raven in ac6 is from ac3, and the mechs look very alike when you consider in ac6 raven modded his parts, and you can see in trailer. And our character in ac6 is from ac4

I had the 4th one on PS3 a while back and didn't play it too much, but since Souls series and Elden Ring, I'm getting pretty hyped about the 6th. Though I got to say, i think my favourite trailer here for me is AC 5, mimicking 00s War on Terror aesthetic with weapon testing videos gave it a certain raw quality the new one lacks.

Armored Core 3's opening took me back! I put so much time into that game back in the day, although I was never very good at it lol

I just realized this is from a company that hasn't either changed its name from business mergers, made a stupid decision regarding NFTs, or made a game that had to be patched up post launch with unfinished content, and tasteless brand merchandising practices in the game itself. Also never wavered from making games to Live service Gaas business model. Oh Square Enix!, what are YOU doing here?!?!

I've waited so god dang long to play an AC game, I've only ever played Daemon X Machina, which I know isn't something to be compared to AC series. but I am ready, I threw money down on the Collectors Edition like a fool, idc, I need to know what its like to play an actual AC game. I need it.

Fuck the trailer of the early games brought back so much nostalgia. Me and my cousins played this game for days most of it spending time on customizing oour mechs and emblems. Dayum i wish ac6 would do a great job

I adored this series when I was growing up. Then it went from straight forward to overly complicated with A TON of numbers and balancing and unforgiving difficulty. Last good game in my book was Silent line. But I will probably get this just the same

My first, and only one, was Armored Core Another Age, that shit was awesome. Loved the customization and as a kid it was so difficult to master and I never did. But now as an adult...my body is ready for the new one, I'm gonna mod the shit out of a mecha and boost that baby into battle with some glorious red paintjobs and rockets galore. Maybe this is my year haha another Armored Core at last and also Gundam Battle Operations 2 finally releases on PC hopefully.

I can't help but feel like, when it comes to AC6 coming up next and with its opening shot... They know. Or at least someone at fromsoftware knows or has been talking to someone who already knows. That was a solar nova that flashed the planet...the same kind of nova we will experience in less than approx. 25 years from now. And they wrote that scenario into a game. Lol. Absolutely hilarious. Interesting to note too that their version of how things end up is obviously quite different from the version we're about to face but then again, their version of earth is damn near barren already so no forests to catch fire, no oceans to boil which in turn means no follow up ice age. Just a very dusty one in the AC6 universe. Clever.

@@spacemarinesruleall Huh. Interesting. Tbf, I probably haven't even touched an AC game since 9Breaker, so their lore isn't surprising. That shot though still looks a bit prophetic, even if it is an underexageration of what is to befall our planet. The dark souls-esque scrap bot was also a nice touch. Also, fairly prophetic in my mind. Alas, media does this all the time so I guess it's no surprise either.

Yep, the Moonlight laser blade is present in the first gen. If used with Human Plus, it's also one of the most broken weapons (not as broken as WA-FINGER in PP but still OP.). Around 2-4 shots with blade and/or blade wave is enough to destroy other ACs

Hard to say from the trailer, even more so when ever generation pretty much had diferent heights, but from archteture comparrison they seem to be close to 20 meters i think

Right after Bloodbourne I became a huge Fromsoft fan (having played Demon Souls, Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2)I decided to buy the AC games, thinking they’d be Dark Soul type Mech games. I bought AC 4, For Answer and 5 for the PS3. but they were not what I expected. Fromsoft devs are saying that AC 6 is not going to be Soulslike (exept for the bosses) and that has me a bit worried because the AC games didn’t sell very well in the last decade. Having said that, Japanese dev teams are a bit notorious for lying, and seeing how incredibly successful the Souls franchise has been I’m fairly certain they will incorporate more Soulslike elements in AC 6.

I hate flying mechs. The whole appeal of a mech is it's a walking machine. If you have the technology, what's the point of having a humanoid machine, when you could just build a dedicated flying machine, that probably could be as armored, as armed, but much faster?
