Those two were experienced - they realised very quickly their usual tactics would backfire on them so they resorted to behaving correctly. Funny that. In order to switch from one approach to the other, they have to be aware there are two approaches. Consequently, the burning question is; why do they deliberately choose to start with the incorrect approach? Not just these two, ALL of them? Because they are all trained to. That is the core issue. Because fear and compliance go hand in hand - if they project force and strength, most will buckle When you find someone who doesn’t buckle, you need to switch tactics. All part of the training when considering their goals - which are related to control, not helping the plebs lol Firearms officers are typically better at handling interactions tho. They’ll need to be a lot more controlled than the majority of ego driven officers or people die

I suggest any response to a mental health enquiry is to ask if they are qualified to make an assessment. If they have concerns they should call a qualified person who may be able to assess if their paranoia may be a mental health issue.

Back to this one, cops turned up surly but you grounded the early doors. Loved how you turned the tables on old Chub’s and gave him the cold shoulder later on.

It’s a new strategy they’ve been told to use. They can’t badger someone for filming which is lawful but they are able to detain someone if there are concerns about their mental health. So that’s what they are now using. Same old roundabout different horse.

Every time they ask you if you're OK or similar, ask them if they are a psychiatrist or in any way trained to perform a psychological evaluation. Ask them what degree they have and where they studied.

Poor deputy high commissioner he got demoted pretty sharpish. Reduced to security from high office within a few minutes!! The second cop initially had an expression that looked like he knocks nails into wood with his forehead for a hobby!. Brave Yardley I’d have taken off after looking at him. But he turned out to be ok by his standards. I’m sure in private life he’d deplore the rogue cops but he’s not going to stick his neck out and report them. Thinks about his job and his family so keeps quiet. Clearly thought this all a big waste of time. Wonder what they were saying to the guy inside he was in there ages.

I wrote this to another comment but the first bit I missed when talking to the deputy high commissioner/security guy would have added more context as he said the 'driver said' I asked about the High Commissioners movements.. It was at that point I think he wondered if I was a threat.. But because he didn't identify himself properly I didn't explain I was just filming as a social experiment. As everyone saw, I did not at no time ask about the high commissioner and I had no reason to do so. It's a good thing I was filming the driver's conversation. If you feel like a person has made a false claim like 'they tell us, you've been here.for 2 hours', instead of calling them a liar straight off the bat, ask the officer if the complainant has made a formal complaint or signed a statement. Any lies at that point would be a crime. If they haven't given a formal statement, then demand the officer get that from the complainant so you can start civil action against the complainant or even the officer if they are misrepresenting a sworn statement.

I got to be Honest I felt a bit sorry for this officer outside talking with Yardley. Because they have been so ruined by the fallen Brothers and or the fallen Sisters working in and for the police force that they struggel now they dont know what to do or say for the best. I think when they are polite you should be respectful of that and give them a chance now. I know it is hard because I have lost Faith in them BIG TIME INFACT POLICE LISTENING TO LIERS HAVE MADE ME UNWELL MENTALLY PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIINALLY.. But if they are seeming to be trying to be cordrial then we got to give the Good ones a chance to shine x

Even if you answered ''im mental im no threat to anyone MATE'', then what? its not illegal, and it stops them keep on repeating it, it would confuse them, they wouldn't be expecting it. And as for them calling people MATE, its wrong, if a copper questions you and you address them as MATE they dont like it, similar to you calling a wpc darling or love, they dont like it. Try it next time they call you MATE answer them with the same title.
