@@sectorz1019 The teams are gone for now. This merger means spring football has a chance to actually be something. Dividing the players who don't make the NFL between 2 spring leagues would have probably resulted in both dying, you'd have XFL fans and USFL fans, now you have a large amount of both those fanbases combined and no competition. They need to focus on growth and longevity, people will start watching in half a decade if it's still around. Stadiums will start to fill up.

Cheating like that helped to turn soccer into a pathetic mess, personally I'd hate to see that happen to this sport too. Even if the kicker doesn't draw a penalty for such obvious cheating, which he should, you can't pin it on the guy trying to block the kick either.

What a game! Best UFL game so far in my book. Just back and forth the whole time, so many great plays and another amazing performance from Jake Bates. Went 5 for 5 but if you include the ones wiped away by penalty he went 7 for 7, including one from 60 and the game winner.

I’d like to think at every stop Luis Perez has had in his football journey he’s baited a rookie into a game of bowling and absolutely wiped the floor with him.

Michigan kinda like the Steelers where they play up and down to their competition and know how to get the win. Also Etling has pretty bad pocket awareness, and I don't think Perez would have struggled like that but who really knows why these coaches keep playing different QBs seemingly at random.

Terrific game. Unreal Arlington is 0-6. They could easily be 4-2 right now had just a handful of plays gone their way.

Luis Perez is one of the best QBs in the league just absolutely TRAPPED on the worst team. He does so much and gets nothing back in return. Some NFL team should really look at bringing him in to camp and at least get him as a practice squad QB minimum during the season.

@NineballChris I think he'd rather be both. Chances are if he made it to a practice squad he'd compete for his job/maybe lose it at the end of season. We've seen guys last year go to the NFL/Practice squads for the previous season who are now back in spring ball so it wouldn't be impossible.

That will be a 80 yard kick. They are kicking off at the 20. They do not have the leg to kick it in the endzone. Bates kicks it and lands around the 9 yard line.
