The hallucinations in mid air actually made me chuckle because wherever you seem to go you always get hallucinations or get cold spores

For the climbing picks, the pick shouldn’t have broken. Instead he should’ve teleported on the other side of the wall and hit a death barrier and lost everything

Aberration is still my favorite map. It's a shame no one else plays it any more. I think the fact that there were no flyers on it really changed up the gameplay dynamics in a fun and challenging way.

You know, I've seen a few of these but this one in my opinion is the best you've made. You earned my sub with this one 😃

Here's what first happened to me when I played it, 1. Spent first 17 minutes trying to find a fucking piece of stone 2. Finally made a pick, died to a spino later 3. actually suffered trying to tame a single raptor 4. Finally tamed at least a level 20 raptor 5. Died in 9 minutes to a sarco 6. Legit raged quit for 2 weeks on aberration 7. Came back and finally tamed a raptor without it dying 8. I died to piranhas, and in the process i lost my raptor (i didn't see it even die in the logs???) 9. Tamed another raptor and found my raptor fighting again a sarco but it won 10. They all died TO A FUCKING SPINO AGAIN 11. Settled in with 5 parasaurs because i was losing it 12. i died fighting a pack of ravagers and lost all my stuff And that's the end, probably some day I'll make updates to when i finally reach the red zone but yes this was inspired by the scorched earth experiences list

Honestly, aberration is probably one of my favourite maps, despite not playing it much, due to the main menu music that you enjoy after leaving, the glowing creatures and plants at night which can help you move around and the design and size of the map, I often enjoy living in caves in games.

This is a very well done video, many gamers try to deny this, but the trailers are created to give you the idea that it will be a big party and great fun but it isn't. Aberration is a very hard dlc, many things can go wrong. I have been playing with 100 ping while having fiber internet with good speed. There are also a new bug, in certain places you get stuck on dino while trying to ride it. Even with all the issues this is the best game ever and I will love playing it forever. Ab is still one of my favorite dlcs. Well done, you deserve a big thumbs up.

@@worldsbesthandgernade8761 easiest to exploit and tried and true "op" spots. It's the most overplayed, overexploited and overdone map but it still holds up, it's the reason people picked up the game in the first place after all, and doesn't have the issues center scorched or lagnarock has

They are made for climbing smaller locations (at least until you get the higher quality ones). They are made for scaling smaller obstacles. They aren't made to go from the lowest part of the floor to all the way to the ceiling. Of course they are gonna break.

I love aberration, but I never get past taming bulb dogs. I hate how the raptors still pounce in aberration, and the easiest spawn has basilisk, raptors and I believe I've seen pulmonos there before.i love showing my friends the "friendly lil red and while mushrooms" only for them to freak out as they see the effect. Never gets old.

I'm playing solo and it's not that bad. I understand what you mean about the raptors, but as soon as you get bolas I think things change a little. The recommended areas have always been wrong, one of the (easy) spawns for the island has a spino roaming around. Spawn near a lake and as soon as you can, move higher up. If you live to far down you'll have to live amongst karkinos and spinos amongst other things. Once you've got a water tank, aberration has a passive mechanic called condensation that gradually stores up water. I really want you to be able to enjoy this DLC since you seem to be interested, so if it proves too difficult try changing the player resistance to 0.5, you'll take half damage thus giving you more time to think.

They actually used them like gliders and leveled out to easily travel much longer distances. As for the climbing picks, they are made for scaling smaller heights and lesser obstacles. Not made to climb from the floor all the way to the highest point in the game in one go.

at the EASIEST region, I died to a basilisk, Raptor and Red Mushroom, so I moved to a place near the river that has spinos, karkinos and sarcos, there I was in the most peaceful part of the map, didn't had any problems with them

Thats always the case with game trailers. Mainly because people get hyped by the trailers but arent so good at the game as the trailer portrays. But also because trailers only show good stuff while most of the time you won't be doing said cool stuff in game.
