Arielle really is phenomenal! What a great combination of vocal control, expressiveness and comic timing.

Great to discover this clip of a wonderful song sung by such a great voice and talent! So fortunate to have heard Arielle and Adam in their cabaret show in SF!

does anyone have any scientific explanation for why "how did he win you MARTHA" affects me so much

AvalonMorley Thomas Jefferson was played by Britney Coleman and Edward Rutledge was played by Andréa Burns but that's all I know of the casting. It's a shame that there are no videos of them though!

@ry mid Omg I love Andréa Burns! I loved her in In The Heights. (Also: Kate Rockwell played John Dickinson, Remains Webb played Abigail Adams, and Krystina Ablado played the Courier.)

Wonderful! Though she did reverse "wife" and "life." But that's really picky, and a minor problem, compared to the talent and delivery here.

AvalonMorley I kinda liked that cause I always reverse those two words when I belt this song. It made me feel better to hear a professional do it too.

She acted hot and bothered like the lyrics of the song. Think of a woman getting all steamed up when her man can play the bass guitar SO low she about gets a little moist down under. Or how she's so fascinated by her man's concentration and skill on the electric guitar. Those may be bad analogies. As the song goes on, it sounds like the vibe of her saying when Tom plays, the bodice is busting loose and the corset is coming off! Her singing was also very much like a stringed instrument being played!
