My impression is that Charlotte is actually quite an emotional person. I think it must be tough for her to get all this criticism and hate from the fans plus it sounds like she doesn't have the warmest relationship with people backstage. But it sounds like she's come to terms with all this and she's determined to be the best in the business

I agree. I think not only she's emotional. In a way, other than the shyness, I think she's rather insecure and struggled with imposter syndrome (the way she reacts to the stories of Heyman giving her encouragement). She also lets on several times she sort of envies a lot about Becky - the fan reactions, the family stuff, that she got to wrestle Lita earlier this year (look how eagerly she said Lita mid sentence, and how she made sure she'd love to wrestle her now even though Ariel moved on from the point). I think Charlotte is secretly not at all the kind of person we see and got used to on screen. She's not the queen type, but she knows people will never separate the dad gimmick from her so she doesn't try to be herself often times. But may just be me and my interpretation. I just think that her pausing a lot of the time suggests she's trying to articulate herself out of conflicting thoughts she's having.

I genuinely do think she is the GOAT of women's wrestling and this is coming from someone who watched prime Trish & Lita. She is the complete package from in ring ability and is pretty decent at cutting a promo as well. I guess fans just hate her because of how many opportunities she has gotten to be at the top while there are numerous other women that can be in the same picture. But like she said, it's not up to her... she said it herself she wanted to face Naomi (who I also think is amazing) for the last 5 years and why it didn't happen.. who knows?

She does have a big ego though. It's been corroborated multiple times over by people who're close backstage. We saw it on full display with the belt swap fiasco. It's not that she struggles with it, she is just the more extroverted of the two. Becky can stay in character 24/7 since she seems really comfortable being around people all the time. Charlotte on the other hand is clearly introverted and she used to have anxiety issues in the past. I think she can't always stay in character even if she wanted to, she just doesn't seem to be wired that way.

And it’s not her fault but she doesn’t need to anywhere near any kind of title for a while now. She doesn’t need it and losing as a heel doesn’t matter and making new stars should be her role from now on and building new stars. How many more matches can the division have?. They don’t have many upcoming talent, certainly not in NXT. The women’s division in NXT was better than many of the matches on WWE.

Charlotte is one of, if not the, best Women’s wrestler wwe has right now based purely on athletic ability. A lot of people blame her for how her character is booked and think she has all this pull backstage, but I feel like if she did her character would not be where she is right now (meaningless champ with no viable competition). I think she’s long been tired of wwe’s handling of her and has taken the brunt of unjustified blame. She isn’t her actual character idk why fans can’t separate her from her gimmick as if we all don’t know it’s not real life. It’s frustrating as a fan so I can’t imagine how she feels

Great that l have read about 20 comments only so far and they are all positive towards Charlotte. She is the best women's wrestler today. Get on other channels and a lot of negative comments towards her by a lot of so called wrestling fans..that's their entitlement but I don't agree.

Charlotte can have a rough exterior but she's actually very tender. I don't know if I've seen this side of her before.
