ABOUT THE PIECE
“Aria for solo marimba is an adaptation of the third movement of my marimba Concerto (2013), written for and dedicated to Robert van Sice. It focuses on the lyrical and delicate side of the instrument and was written in collaboration with van Sice”. -Christopher Theofanidis.
