I come back to this video every so often, and it always lifts my spirits. I dont know how anyone who likes rock and metal music can't be absolutely blown away by this marvel of human capability! Then when you see Danny speaking in interviews hes always smiling and hes alwaus so humble to! Itd be one thing for him to be megs talented. But then to also seemingly be a sweet and genuine person to. If god exists, he put in overtime on this one! ❤🙏

There are so many works of genius by great composers of many eras... why do people waste their time on kitsch? Kitsch only pretends to be something it is not. Hashtag "justasking"🎉

Awesomeness! That’s a workout! He’s pounding his kit. It’s surprising how hard they hit their kit. As hard as they can! “That’s what she said!” Funny she told me the same thing…

I've watched this video a gazillion times and I just cannot look away while it is playing. Danny's drumming is just otherworldly. It completely blows my mind how someone can remember all those notes. I know when it's something you write it is different. With his insane catalog of some of the most phenomenal drumming the world has ever been graced with it is really hard to comprehend that a mere human can pull it off...... Unless of course Danny is a god?? That was rhetorical btw

An absolutely mind-boggling performance of Reich's incredible score. This is Aurora Borealis music. It was life-changing to hear this back in the late 70's during its premiere in NYC. It is deeply moving to hear it again during this solar cycle.
