I knew that Shakira is at another level of any other artist. Not taking anything away from JLo, which she was incredible. But Shakira omg the dancing, singing, the amount of instruments that woman can play. On top that she know 7 languages fluently. I’m not being a super Shakira fan when I said she is at another level. A little fact for those that are now realizing the level of talent this woman poses. Her first song she wrote was at the age of 8 or 10 years of age. She been writing poetry and songs since she was a child. But what makes her so incredible is beside all these talents she reminds humble, true to herself and is the one of the most humanitarian person on this planets. But no one knows that because she does it not for publicity or tax breaks or recognition. That is why she is the best in my eyes.

How did you not see this live? More people all over the world were just waiting for this halftime show. As for them singing live, from what I have learned all performances are sung live but have been prerecorded in case their mics would happen to go out. Not only halftime, but the Star Spangled Banner, too. Even Whitney Houston's infamous Star Spangled Banner - the best ever - had a prerecorded backup.

I saw this presentation the time was done and a few times later. Today I saw it again! just to see your reaction. The girl that sing with JLo is her daughter, she is starting to sing ? Amazing women and performers!!

I am obsessed with Shakira too, since I was born literally. since 1995 I've been listening to her because of my aunt. Also you should check out Bad Bunny, he's the dude that sang "I like it" with Shakira. He has been Spotify’s most listened artist for 3 years in a row. Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 in the house!! love your videos!!!

There was so much controversy about this at the time with some people outraged that they were so sexy, saying not family friendly and that mothers shouldn't be that sexy lmao. They look terrific, especially for being over 40 and 50 yrs old. It seemed that there was a lot of jealousy from middle-aged women who don't look at all like this. They were amazing this performance. The young girl singing is JLo's daughter, Emme, which was sweet.

It usually is jealous/insecure people judging the women performing on these shows. I also remember hearing some women criticizing Lady Gaga when she did her show because she was a bit fat, even tho she literally had a tiny belly that looked a bit bigger due to the slightly constricting costume she was wearing. They didn’t think she looked fit, even tho she was over here dancing and singing and flying all over the stage lmao. Anyways, yeah that’s what sucks when these judgmental people see female performers for the Super Bowl. They tend to put them under so much pressure and flak.

As a Gen Xer and middle aged woman myself, I'm just wowed by these ladies! Of course I'd love to look like them, but that's surely gotta be like a lot, lot, *lot* of hard work, so yeah - my admitted smudge of envy is well outweighed by my love of chocolate biscuits and the sofa, from where I'm happy to sit and admire their hard work and commitment, their talent, and their dedication to performance! It is a little racy though, especially for children's viewing - there, I've said it! And tbh, I'm not that comfortable with the thought of my grandbabies trying to imitate their style - but what I'm NOT going to do, is be a Karen and start making a fuss about it - and I'm *definitely* not gonna be ringing and emailing folk to make official complaints! With age, (hopefully?🤔) (sometimes?😳) (allegedly?🙃😆) comes maturity, and a growing acceptance that times move on and always will, as they have before and do for every generation - even if yes, it makes you feel unbearably old from time to time... and oh, it does, lol!
