Im ok with HWs re-releasing those, it might give collectors a second chance to actually get one at a reasonable retail price and not some bloated fantacy number from a reseller. I really don't care if these getting re-released bothers the resellers. To be honest, those people will just buy them all anyway, I'll never see them... again. Did you notice how the re-release set wasn't numbered? The second Boulevard set you showed is numbered 101-105, the re-release had no numbers. I actually ordered a case of Boulevard 101-105 from a hobby store I buy from sometimes at about $10usd each, about $2.50usd more than if I found them at Walmart. Mattel been doing a lot of rereleasing of cars. Not only in premium, but also in the mainline due to the Let's Race cartoon. I think it gives us a second chance to acquire some favorites without spending too much on secondary market or finding them with broken wings in the swap meets. Yes I'm talking about the pearl blue Dragon Blaster. 🤪

It doesn't bother me that Hot Wheels re-releasing those Boulevards, as it doesn't affect me (i have them all already) and it gives a second chance for collectors to get them at reasonable price, especially the R34 Super Silhouette Skyline which was scalped like no other HW model! The Mercedes CLK-GTR commands high prices as well, so it's nice to see this model re-emerge in this livery. The new Boulevard set does look nice: I especially like the 1955 Plymouth Savoy with its weathering patina. The rest look nice as well (although i feel that the Thunderbird Pro Stock will be the pega warmer of this set). Thanks for the updates.

Some places have Optimus prime preorders (southern diecast,eBay etc)

I think they did this because of the renumbering. All those repeats aren't numbered lower left corner.

I don't think this casting has been released before, and its good to see 1950s US cars OTHER than the 55-'56'57 Chevies! And I can say that as a GM guy! I thought they were already overhyped as a kid in the early 1980s. The Honda Civic Type R looks fantastic, and I may spring my wallet open for that. Thanks, Paul!!!!!

I think it's hilarious, it's the scalpers fault and the wealthy, you reap what you sew or karma whatever you want to call it, it doesn't matter those cars will get snagged as well it just gives all others a opportunity now that shouldn't be squandered, I can think of some other cars they could re-release like that silver R33 skyline that sells on ebay for $50, like to have it but not for $50, chases and treasure hunts are challenging and expensive as it is, I also like the hobby to be fun so regular cars should be cheap and easy, if some people get mad that's just selfish I want everybody to be able to have these cars, if everyone could have a opportunity and be able to afford these cars their would be a lot more happy people and less complaining and bragging, I'm all for it 👍

sometimes i wait for the hype to die down. if i down get the car then its ok..

im ok with repeats coz here in melbourne, JDM is very hard to find for similar reasons. im also ok with mavs winning it all even as a thunder fan. they faced better teams than boston who faced all injured teams even if boston is a great team themselves

@@DailyDoseDiecast scalpers are everywhere, esp for sought after mainlines. The only positive is you can find any car if you are willing to pay the premium prices at FB groups or ebay. Downside is pegs are mostly fantasy cars

Hi Paul, sorry to hear that you and your family haven't been feeling well . Hw gone to pot for ne, I've said I'm not purchasing anymore especially rlc, better models elsewhere that's are better made with way better detail and better value for money. Can't wait for the mini gt review

Unnumbered repacks are ok if you missed them. But apart from the LBWLK they're nothing special..

I will admit I am completely over the Boulevard series now, and to add more fuel to the situation they are releasing the same cars again, what a joke.

Why is the re release a bad thing I wasn’t able to get a clk gtr or a lb skyline due to resellers and hoarders I just want the damn car for the store price. The hobby is getting jewed with all these resellers.

They are not numbered what's the deal with that ?? Are they even real boulevards?

They where top sellers.. that's the only reason there are bringing them back. No numbers on these ones. But believe me they won't be worth what the 1st addition is worth

Plus original card doesn't have the gold lettering. Same cars but at least packaging is different. I like they re-released these. Hope it doesn't cause the original carded one's to skyrocket in price due to the difference.
