I think it's because the subjects they deal with are small, personal problems that we can all relate to, rather than trying to make you think about world events and systemic issues that all you can do is be anxious about.

In grade school my friend was part of a large family. His dad drive a late 70’s wonder bread truck similar to a ups truck but white, rusty wheel wells and a partially torn off and painted over wonder bread sticker. They had s couch for the kids to sit on.

NAIR STORY: I was in High School at a friend’s party her dad was throwing at the end of summer 2008 - a BUNCH of her dad’s trash friends who were drinking heavy!! So she decided to put NAIR in the man’s hair who was passed out drunk on the couch! He woke up the next morning PISSED and PATCHY 😂 He had Foley style of hair before the Nair was applied to give a visual.
