Unfortunately, staying humble is a monolithic challenge for many who are of the character and personality of the prophet. The boldness and brashness required to be effective as a prophet tend to lend themselves to harshness and lack of compassion. Humility is very important, but to a certain degree. Too much and the prophet is almost useless.

Very true i love hearing from God can't wait to be with him all the time He showed me His love for me and it awesome Hallelujah there is no love like it on earth, I have walked with Him and talked to Him once he took me to the New Jerusalem thats when I walked with him, He took me upon a mountain and let me look down at it, i told Him i wanted to live there, He asked me if I was ready to go back, i said yes because I wanted to get my feet back on solid ground because I don't like heights this place was moving, the Bible says it is the New Jerusalem coming down from Heaven.

Absolutely. The two can’t be separated.

Unfortunately most prophets are not trained by anyone. They must rely on God and stay still. You will be rejected and you must not become bitter. You can pray at any time all through the day. Practice his presence all day even when your doing things talk to God.

That’s so true I’m just emerging in my prophetic anointing and God has truly blessed me and has brought help from the most unexpected ways. The Holy Ghost is my trainer but yes do ask for help in trying times. I’ve experienced rejection in my church and like I said it not easy BUT GOD is your resource fir all things. And yes we must not get angry, we must love ❤️ and overcome rejection with love. At first I was hurt and then I was angry and then God sent word to me to forgive and love this is so so important in the life of the prophetic. God bless everyone 🥳❤️✝️

I've been seen as weird to those of the world. Misunderstood, hated, gossiped about, back stabbed, mocked, laughed at, lied about, threatened with harm, attacked etc...His Joy is my Strength 💪

@@edwardlongfellow5819 not just prophets Ed all who receive the Holy Spirit. Jesus said You shall receive of this same anointing and greater works than these you shall do. When God looks at us He doesn’t see our faults, failings, and sinful tendencies. Because of the blood of Jesus He sees the perfection of His son. Only Jesus sees us as we truly are…a work in progress. This anointing first changes our very nature to give us what Adam lost, the likeness of God. Then bit by bit, line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little there a little we are remade to be like Jesus. As long as we continue to seek righteousness and strive for faith we will become perfect as He is perfect. All of the provisions made for Jesus are made for us as well. As a child of God in the will of God I sit in the palm of His hand and He said Who can snatch me them from me. Because I’ve drawn near to Him His wing of protection is over. Angels go before me to protect my way, and angels have been given charge to bare up my weight. I am a defended city with a wall fire and a hedge of thorns. They can’t even raise their voice against me unless God allows it. What He allows or causes is to teach and strengthen us.

Yes he's definitely raising up an army. Amen I'm new to this. I've been caught up in the world for too long. The enemy has stole enough. It's time to rise up and come together in Christ.

This is so true man of God, contamination is very dangerous for a prophet.

Holding on to your sanity is big too. Lots of prophets end up in a nut house. I was looking at a mirror saying are you crazy, could this be real? Suddenly it was Jesus's face he said Your not crazy your blessed.

@@edwardlongfellow5819 have you seen that young lady who paints what the lord has shown her. Her last name is Kramerick. She did a very accurate portrait of Him. She calls it Prince of Peace. Akiana kramerick that’s it. Go look. I stared at His huge nose and He feigned offense and said I am Jewish you know. Sometimes He says the funniest stuff. Like I close my eyes and I see his face right. So I get used to it and one day I start praying and I’m like Jesus where are you? I’m right here. Where I don’t see…then He blinked and I realize I’m looking at an eye 5 feet across. I jumped and kinda squealed in surprise and He says Gotcha! Gotta love the dude He so awesome

I don't know if I am a prophet or not but so far I have had 571 dreams and visions, I write them down as I get them, the Lord has showed me a lot of awesome things, some people believe me when I tell them things, some just look at me like I was crazy,you are right i feel alone sometimes, I think it would help if I could talk to a real prophet and show them what i have got, no one is interested in reading them, i feel people need to read this. I just thank God for showing me things and talking to me. We serve a mighty God.

Mr Bodine. The first sentence of your comment got my attention. Please consider the words I share with you: The “office” of the Prophet has not changed. Similarly as the other four offices: teachers teach, pastors shepherd and evangelists go forth. The Prophet was (before Jesus came) the spokes person for God to the Nation of Israel. They anointed kings, brought correction & rebuke, warned of impending danger from the enemy, etc. What has occurred in recent times is the office of the Prophet has been reduced to a gimmicky fortune telling endeavor. God forbid. Like you I am a dreamer. I was saved many decades ago as a teen. I’ve had vision type dreams since I was very young. Dreams that came to pass. Maturation in the Lord is the most important thing. He will tell you What to do with the revelation you’ve been allowed to see, and When to do it. Often He will have you to Pray and Not Share. In the early 80’s I began to have a series of vision type dreams that had national significance. I knew it even though the visions were symbolic, the importance of them were clear. They did not manifest until 2015/16 presidential election, Russian interference and fallout. Just think who would’ve believed me if I shared that vision to anyone beside a few very close persons to me? Warning visions has been my experience. Am I a prophetess ? I consider myself as one who God shows things to. Occasionally he has shown me things & persons who are potentially harmful to me. What I really wish to stress is the spiritual danger of allowing false prophets to contaminate the point of prophesy and the office. Jesus warned of these times when false prophets would rise . Even now at my age, when I’m not sure of something I heard in my Spirit, the will answer “you know my voice”. “If it doesn’t come to pass, you’ve heard another voice”. So I have trained my spirit to hear His voice only and not be deceived by any other voice. In closing, pray always and don’t worry about titles. Obey God. An example of what a prophet ISN’T is the one that boasts that they are and they love an Audience, spouting “words of wisdom” to people in the audience. Lord, help us!!

I got so emotional listening to this. I completely understand everything you two were saying. When I became born again, the Lord spoke clearly but it has been extremely difficult and rewarding. My time with the Lord has been so back and forth...I get easily distracted with raising kids and struggling with depression at times, but how I always long to spend time with the Lord and He never leaves my thoughts, especially during dry seasons...

You're a modern day Brother Lawrence, the monk in the book 'Practicing the Presence of God'. Find out about him, how his mind was always on God. Seeing that will help boost your confidence to overcome depression. Remember God said ''I will keep in perfect peace those whose mind is stayed upon me''. That's how Brother Lawrence avoided life's fears and anxieties. Look up a free pdf version of the book. Blake K Healy has AMAZING books that reveal how/when/why the enemy is operating in your thoughts/surroundings etc... to bring depression, destruction etc... I saw Blake on It's Supernatural, and went to Amazon to buy his eBook. A girl said she was healed from depression after her parents gave her one of Blakes' book, so I bought all three and have been recommending them since. People will stop being fooled once they read them. Stay blessed.

It is not an easy path being God's Prophet but I am committed to always doing right by God and helping him in the work that God wants in our world.

I have been hated, rejected, vilified by most/many ALL my life. What's new? If it happens if I speak his word, if I have the privilege of speaking his word.....well, been there, used to being the outsider, the 'freak' of the group. The Lord loves me

I love the pureness part, though the best teacher for a prophet is the Father himself for no one knows you better, follow his word for he is the Lord thy God. I hope this helps my brothers and sisters.

Amen, I love this. God gave me Jeremiah 1:5, and I struggled like Jeremiah to accept my call to the Prophetic. I was feeling overwhelmed with unworthiness but it's so true, I struggle but I have given up so much for the sake of God but it's been worth it!

My goodness and prophet goes thru extreme suffering.I couldn't have friends when I in school they would turn against me and didn't know.they saw what I didn't.that annoiting will cause people to hate you.I know I am age 62 now.God bless

If you're called to this foundational function, then you'll know beyond a shadow of a doubt. God will make Himself abundantly clear to you. The Body of believers around you will just confirm it. Remember that the call must come from Him, not a church leader. You must know that you know first before someone else acknowledges it. Your knowledge and the believers around you knowing will work in tandem. God talks to us and confirms His Word through those who believe as we do. Now that you know, get ready for the crucible. There will be several of those over your lifetime. Don't fight it, just surrender and let Him change you. Speak and do as He says, and exactly what He tells you to say and do, nothing more, nothing less. You'll overcome the embarrassment, rejection and fear. God exercises our spiritual muscles to make us bold and uncompromising because we have to come up against powers and principalities before the rest of the Body does. Remember that it's a lonely road. If you are truly called, God will have you walking on the ceiling when everyone else is walking on the floor. Your own brethren will think you're crazy half the time.

Hi Joshua you are on point!!! Purity is something that's very lacking and yes too many people pleasers rather than God pleasers! Amen ans amem. So for the truth no matter what!!! I had that rejection happened to me when I gave a word the church didn't like and I was not welcome since. I was no longer seen as credible but I knew it was training ground so praise God all the way

God has revealed Himself to me several times i have read the book of numbers it says 12:6 when there is a prophet among you i the Lord reveal myself to them in vision and speak to them in dreams. He has revealed Himself to me lots of times and has taken me to Heaven to the knew Jerusalem once I walked along with Him and He took me upon a tall mountain so I could see it i told him I would like to live here, then he ask me if I was ready to go back i said yes i want to get my feet back on solid ground He never let me see things in it because I wouldn't want to come back, but it was round and looked like a white road around it ,what i seen was beautiful and on are way back there was a woman with us i think she stood for His Bride

I love the rejection, embarrassment part of the lesson, it's helping me a lot

I love this so much. I can relate to this. I feel the lord purified me completely and I never ever felt this way in my life. I find myself spending the whole day in his word because it’s just so exciting to learn and hear from him. What an honor it is that the lord shares with us his own knowledge and mysteries. God is GREATEST!

I prophet came to a church one day and he called me out told me that I have a seer Anointing and God is training me and i would need to join with a ministry to empower my gift.

Real prophets do not veer from the office of the prophet, or it’s original purpose. Neither do they seek an audience, man’s approval, or recognition. Most prophets are the least desired, because they often bring rebuke and correction. They bring “fair warning” to leaders, and people of God who have erred. They often live solitary lives because most people, even so-called people of God can’t stand correction. They prefer the soothe-sayers to tell them something good.

I can tell you without watching the video. If you were called to be a prophet, you would know without a doubt. You would hear from God, or an angel sent by him.

I’ve been blessed to be taken in under my spiritual sister, who had covered me as I take this journey. We’ve both have started reading this book and discuss it regularly.
