    I'm 42 years old I have been watching this show since I was 6 years old we only had two channels growing up till I was in my teens so I'm so happy I got to enjoy this awesome, hilarious show. Still love it thanks to youtube

    Only two chanels ? Oh my, how you suffered, We had VHF channels 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 and UHF channels 41, 47, 68 and later I was able to receive 2 scrambled broadcasts HBO and WHT movie networks. We used channel 3 for games and VCRs.. Analog television 📺 Long before digital Television 📺 ♥️

    This series is rich with characters . All of them act so naturally . I think one is seeing the actual characteristics of the actors involved . You get that with British actors .

    I started watching this show when it began airing in the US, in the early 1980's. Liked it immediately. It's sad that almost the entire cast is gone now. Such great actors.

    I concur so sad their all gone. A couple were born in the late 1800s n the majority in the early 1900s, 20s n 30s. So they were all pretty mature folks when the show aired in '72. Still 1 of my favs as a kid growing up...

    I recognize the customer with glasses from another episode. He was an accountant, trying to fit his wife up for a company ball. The domestic fight that erupts with Mrs. Slocombe right in the middle was unforgettable. The wife ended up saying, "it's that woman, isn't it? The secretary on the comptrometer!" Mrs Fox is up to her “Dad’s Army” tricks again with Mr. Lucas.

    I love this show because I would hear my dad watching it every night on pbs. He wouldn't let me watch it because it dirty. But when it started coming on on the Saturday night British comedy line up he started letting me watch it. When they done something like the vacuum bit he would pull a face atme but it always turned into a snicker. I think I enjoyed his laughing the most.

Later my friend and I got into Rosemary & time,Doc martin and father Brown as well as Eastenders, and the Vicar of Dibbly. 😀

    i love watching show like this makes me think about my job at Target a 5 hour work day standing on your feet all day only one 15 mins then back to work in till 1 pm in the after noon then i am off for week then it starts all over again every Monday.

    The exchange between Lucas and the older woman was priceless...especially when he lost the chalk and then she grabbed his hand after. She was a hoot. Pure gold. And the man who dressed down Peacock...oh man. Plus, the first woman and the sister were absolutely gorgeous. What a great episode.

    She was Mrs Fox who married Corporal Jones in Dad's Army.. Ms Brahms guested in that as did Mr Grace. Rene guested in this twice. Allo Allo was another great series by the writers.
