You all know Shaun from The Story Till Now and his EPIC-built 426 Hemi Gladiator with Dana 60s and 40" Toyos. Well... we decided to make a clone of his Gladiator and add in a few extras for good measure. In this video the Ginger runs through the build and we take it for a test ride to wake up the neighbours. Man, that 426 Hemi is a good time and it sounds amazing.
And incase you don't watch the video fully and decide to comment - we're just joking. Shaun is a good friend and EPIC crew member... We have no intention of replacing him ;-)
Brief breakdown on this build:
AMW4x4 426 Hemi Engine Conversion Package.
Teraflex 3.5" Suspension Package, with Tuned Falcon 3.3 Adjustable Shocks and Springs.
Hellwig Rear Swaybar.
Teraflex Delta Big Brake Kit
Front RCV Axle Shafts and Rear Chromoly Axle Shafts.
Re-Geared with Dana 4.88 Ring & Pinion.
KMC 17" Wheels and 37x13.50R17 Toyo MTs.
Warn VR EVO 12-S Winch w/Synthetic Line.
Gladiator Tailgate Badge, Custom Dash Painting and other goodies.
Custom Leather Seats Underway Soon.

Nope - The "grenaded transfer case" had absolutely nothing to do with anything engine or power related. It was a damaged front shaft and driving highway speeds with the front hubs locked - the shaft just let go, as would any unbalanced shaft ;-) Cheers from the team at EPIC!
This sounds perfectly reasonable; I'll take it.
Sorry Shaun, WhiteRock Dodge told me yesterday The Bank, said I can't play in the big boys club. I will have to settle for using my 3.6 litre V6 Pentastar 2020 Gladiator Rubicon I bought three years ago, for the next five years, till it's actually mine. I will just have to buy the lego parts one by one then. Sunny ways!

What transfer case are you using for the Hemi conversion?

The conversion uses the stock rubicon transfer case, mated to the transmission with AMW's custom adapter. It's strong enough, no problem. Cheers from the team at EPIC!

No idea, never done it. We only do the engine conversion on Jeep JL/JT. A bigger engine in a RAM would be awesome. Cheers from the team at EPIC!

...pretty consistent with factory manual option then. My Mojave purchase took a nostalgic, not objective i admit, turn to manual at time of purchase. It's fun, fun like fumbling with love interest's bra, with mixed success, every time, forever... perfect balance of frustration and fun.

Do you re sell the 3.6 when you take them out ? Mines already getting tired.

미국에서 누군가 기존 3.6 들어내고 헤미엔진으로 스왑할 사람 나올 건 예상했는데, 392가 아니라 426을 갖다박아버릴 줄은 상상도 못했네.. I expected someone in the US to remove the existing 3.6 and swap it for a Hemi engine. But, I never imagined that instead of raising it to 392, they would put 426 in it.
