Actually Hanzo’s arrow hitbox is the smallest of all projectiles in OW now. The log sized arrows were only a thing in Hanzo 1.0 which was 7 years ago.

Yeah but there are still clips of the arrows being pretty far from the head and it still hits the character in the head and you also sometimes see random hanzo arrows literally turn in your direction when they hit you too which is absolute bullshit... even in this video you see the hanzo's getting headshots when their head was no where near their crosshair

Can’t believe he didn’t say Junkrat. I’ve died more times to a Junk that just spams bombs into the air without moving their crosshair than a stray Hanzo arrow. It doesn’t help that he has a two-shot combo which can kill most squishies.

As you play more and get better you will see Junk isn't that good if you just spam. There is a reason why the only way to rank up with Junk is to learn how to flank and play around the one shot combo.

only low elo players die to junk spam in chokes, junk is actually pretty meh, there are situations were he cant do anything because of his limited efective range, he gets demolished by any hitscan, he is super easy to headshot lol

her kit is pretty mid outside of the ult tbh. so if its one single ability aka her ult i get the frustration, but agree she is not overpowered at all as a whole. plus double peeking her ult works most of the time imo

I’m honestly surprised that Yas windwall made it over Gwen W. Gwen W is effectively the same thing but in all directions on top of giving increased resists. I will say that blocking projectiles on reaction and the positioning outplays you can do around those abilities at least takes *some skill* and for that reason I’d put point and click ults like garen, malz, karthus, and veigar as even more braindead since there is essentially no way you can mess them up. I wouldn’t consider liss, naut, k’sante, sett, or kayn in the same class even though it’s point and click because they have a bit more nuance.

The only brainless habilities in Val are the Raze ult and nade and Chamber ult (bro is an Op with guardian fire rate and is free every 3-6 rounds wtf?) Neon needs good movement and aim like jett knives

You mentioned him when talking about Lesion, it's Teemo, his entire kit is just so brain less cause you either get poisoned or blinded or both and then there's that stupid ult of his. Where he basically turns the map into a literal game of Mindsweeper to the point where you can die without ever seeing that little prick.

Definitely saved the best for the last one. I think Yuumi might be the only champion who nobody likes to play either with or against.

Lesion? Eh. It's not as bad as when he was released, and you have to think about your placement for your mines. If you want to pick an old Siege op that was truly brainless, that's gotta be Lion. I remember an old G2 interview, I think it was with Fabian, where he said something like "Lion is 'press 4 for walls' and you win the game"

At least with Lion, even more so now, you have to have some timing skills. You can't just hit the button all willy nilly and expect to get results, especially considering he can't use his weapon when activating the ability, but even when he got released he you had to coordinate with your team when to hit the button. But you wanna talk about brainless abilities in Rainbow Six Siege? literally nothing even comes within the same hemisphere as Rook. It's not even close. Every other operator has at least some sort of semblance of strategy, either with placement, positioning or whatever, but Rook? you place down your armor and just like that, you have given your whole team the ability to tank an extra 20 damage and now self revive. OG Lion is a close second though.

I would agree if they were talking about old Neon ult but the changes made it so she actually needs hit the head so if you die to her it's either you whiffed hard or it's PSI.

A lot of dota2 skills are braindead but a lot of them are easily counterable. This video seems misleading as it focuses more on broken characters rather than skills.

Just realizing the the score esports doesnt mention dota 2 anymore, but if there is one i think it would be pugna's lifedrain and zeus's ult

Forgot a lot of FGC rep imo. As a smash player I think Kazuya electric or Steve minecart are up there but I'm sure stuff in other games is also there

I'd argue most of the time Yasuo's windwall has actual counterplay and people just like to cry about something like that instead of trying to play around it. As a reactionary ability it's incredible, sure, but the game has other abilities with similar purpose and powerlevel like Fizz E. After it's been used though, it becomes a game of positioning which in my opinion makes for quite skill-intensive and really fun interactivity-wise. Hanzo's arrows have an argument since them being so spammy, but the game has MANY abilities way worse, like Junkrat's ult (or I guess his whole kit, since Hanzo arrows had the problem of being randomly spammed which is what Junk also does, with AOE and not havin to hit headshots) that definitely should have made the list over him IMO. Lesion's gu mines also create noise and let you play with sound but still having to do smth to get more value out of them, also thus supporting more tactical play once again. Yuumi is a based pick though, the whole character should have never existed in the first place. (I dont play Valo)

Abathur in Heroes of the Storm not being talked about is understandable as the game isn’t talked about just about at all but he has like 90% of what is talked about in this video. Set it and forget it land mines that hurt you for a billion damage, supports you in a way that you almost never die, makes you faster in basically every way, is nigh untouchable if played right. Abathur definitely deserved a mention here.

the old techies in dota is the literal brainless hero.u play against it,no matter how u win a clash that's 5v4,there is that possibility for your team to die all at once when u push. if u play with it,your teamfights are always 4v5 which is hard cause it feels like you're playing handicap mode

Techies is the ultimate wall. They remodeled him but still annoying hero to match up against as he is now useable in teamfights

Hanzo arrow hitscan was TF2 Sniper's Huntsman, same questionable hit register and it's a both types of projectile and hitscan.

I still think League would be a better game if they completely deleted all of it

Garen ult in league of legands point and click true damage ult that can do at least half a health bar or more if you try to fight him or his e i mean at least his mobility is low otherwise his kit would be giga op

I'm surprised Seer from Apex Legends didn't make it on here. His entire kit is just glorified wallhacks: he gets permanent scans simply just by existing, and that has made him by far the most unfun character to play against in this game. His passive gives him a mostly silent directional heartbeat sensor that's always shown on screen around the crosshair; his tactical allows him to scan in one direction to reveal enemies' positions, reveal their hp, cancel any healing/revives, and temporarily silence abilities; and then there's his ult: a large, building-sized dome that permanently tracks the footsteps and movement of any player that's trapped in their position (like a Cypher ult on steroids). I don’t understand how the devs made this entire kit and decided it would be a good addition to a game where strategy, game sense, and strong understanding of fundamentals were supposedly core elements to the gameplay. Imagine having a character like this in CS:GO, Valorant, Siege, League, or hell, even Warzone or Fortnite. It would never fly - and it never should have even been entertained.

They definitely made Moira more aim heavy compared to the first game. First game it was basically AOE now you actually have to have the crosshair on them. Most fun hero to play by far. Movement, heals, damage. All there.

I would say Neons ult is similar to a shotgun, you have to play close ranges or else you don't do damage, you can run and gun with it, and it has a really fast time to kill, so it's just a bit better shotgun + the requirement to have good tracking.

It's an ultimate. Brim summons a fucking space laser. Raze pulls out a rocket launcher, Killjoy detains anyone within a massive radius, Safe revives somebody, Yoru goes invisible only to pop of thin air and kill you with a shorty, Sova shoots a laser beam across the map and through walls. It's a game with abilities, not all of them have to or should follow the "tactical shooter" model. They're powerful abilities that are meant to be fun to use and should allow you to secure rounds. Besides, if you don't know how to play with your teammates to kill an ulting neon then that sounds like a skill issue

Three from Heroes of the Storm. Abathur is basically a better version of Yumi. He's can hat anyone globally at any time and give them increased attack speed, movement speed, and shields, as well as deal AOE and targeted damage. He can soak any lane by hatting minions and then join the teamfight at a moment's notice. Mephisto with his level 20 ultimate upgrade deals 10% HP damage to all enemy heroes, and if it gets a takedown it casts again. Ragnaros has an ultimate called Lava Wave that clears a full lane of enemy minions all the way to their core. This lets him delay matches for way longer than should be reasonable.

Tbf, while Moira's kit is easy to use, it's also not really difficult to counter. 9 times outta 10 any DPS above plat will win a 1v1 with a Moira

(As a player whos 2nd favorite healer is moira) she is very easy but for me... I don't dps moira too too much... the only time I do is to refill my healing meter or to finish off targets that are low and people can't get the finishing blow on... but mainly to fill up my heal tank... by the end of most of my matches (in unranked because i dont play comp anymore) as moira I can almost guarantee 10k heals sometimes even 20k if the match lasts long enough but it just always depends on the situation at the end of the day

You have to time your wall to counter big abilities to get the most use out of it. A jinx isn't going to ult you with your wall up, right? So you need to set your wall after it's been launched. @@benjaminbuchler6064 bronze spotted edit: Kayo's ult is probably THE BEST ultimate in valorant with viper/astra being a close second, viper because of camper's advantage as the gun barrel of the rusher is seen first by the people inside the ult and the fact that the opposite team inside the ult is vulnerable i.e., 2x damage and continuously losing passive health on top of that. Astra because the wall doesnt allow bullets to go through and muffles most noises so you never know whats up on the other side of the wall!

What about Team Fortress 2 and Pyro's Phlogistinator? You build up a charge that gives you around 10 seconds of guaranteed triple damage, on a flamethrower, it is deadly

Not one entry from Dota2, where a lot say that the abilities there are broken. I guess the brokenness of the abilities there evens out that there are not a lot of complaints regarding brainless abilities.

How is Windwall skill-less xd? I mean the yas has to time it correctly too, has to position it well and has to have the gamesense of knowing when to use it cause its a semi-ult cooldown-wise... And since its stationary there is still counterplay... I mean, there are so many so much more braindead abilities in league, how did you choose windwall out of all of them xd? Edit: Ngl I think they only place that truly deserved to be in this vid was Yuumi, all other abilities either aren't braindead or aren't problematic... If course there are many who complain about those other abilities but we gamers hate nothing more than taking responsibility and blaming the devs. Realtalk though: You have a vid about braindead abilities, put Yas windwall in, not thoguh Malzahar R, Trynda R, Malphite Q, Jax's hole kit, pretty much any ability of any old champ that didn't have a rework yet...

I highly agree. I kinda agreed with the take on Hanzo, but it is less an ability but just the hitbox of the arrows being broken. In my opinion, the most things are not braindead, but more annoying. I know that some peaople do not want to believe it, but yuumi actually has a skill ceiling, with when to use you abilities on who. But the champ design is trash, not braindead
