Depends on the length, on a shorter chain I like a 4-5mm for a longer chain I’d go 6-7mm

@@TheLumostick if you want the 6mm ultimately save for it because it’s worth it, but if you’re just looking for a rope chain and you’re not concerned with the mm then I’d say you can’t go wrong with any of them. I love my 6mm I plan on stacking this year with another chain or 2 not sure yet with what tho.

Yo bradon, I’m layering a 4mm (22in) with a small cross that was my late mother’s and father’s wedding rings melted down, 5mm (22in) with a mother Mary pendant on it. Note: these are all 14kt solid gold chains. I also got a 6mm (24in) with a Jesus face pendant on it and finally got my big boy a 7mm (26in) with a large Jesus crucifix cross on it. I got exactly 260 grams with everything all together. It’s heavy. The layered look Looks great 👍. I figure I’m not going to let them sit in my safe and gonna wear them all. Life is short , why not wear all my shit? My wife says if I want to look like Mr T that she supports me 100%. Lol . I’m done buying for a long while being how I’ve got everything I want now. Keep up the good work brother! I probably paid about $13-$14,000 for everything including the pendants

Bought the 3mm 18kt Franco chain. I love it. Sadly it didn’t fit a couple of my pendants because the piece that connects to the clasp and the chain is too thick. I’m now waiting for the 2/2.5mm 18kt rope chain in 18inch to be in stock.

Most likely hollow chain buddy. Would never ever buy from amazon. Only buy from reputable dealers!

For me personally 5mm-6mm is an "every day wear". I define "every day wear" as something I never take off...so sleeping, showering, working, etc. Anything bigger then that is cumbersome as an every day wear for me. I can't sleep in a 10mm rope 😂 my every day wear is a 5mm Miami Cuban.

I couldn't agree more. I started out with a 4mm and it borderline comically small. Especially for me, I have a broad chest. 4mm, in my opinion, is almost too small for a grown man if it's intended to be an everyday wear. Unfortunately I had no choice but to pawn by the time I came home from business the return policy had long passed. It looked legit silly and lowkey embarrassing across my chest. I say all that to say I 5mm and 6mm is the sweet spot for me

Not to sound like a prick.... I promise. But how do you like the 3mm? Does it satisfy your needs? I got the 4mm and I hated it the day I opened it in the mail. Too small and thin for me at least...I hsve a broad chest and this tiny little danty little gold string across my chest lol how do you wear it? Do you tuck it in? Or layer/stack it?

@@smear6uard I ended up getting the 10k yellow gold 3mm 20in because it just stands out more and it's not as heavy it looks alot better as well with anything it goes with my wedding band my Ap royal oak and my bracelet and earrings I would honestly go with that man it stands out more and it's alot more budget friendly to go with the rest of any Jewelry you might wear hope this helps man

@@unknownsource4359 yeah that sounds like it’d be right for you tbh. I got a 24” rope. I’m 5”11 at 180 pounds. It’s just right. I gym in mine at times and I’ve never had issues. I don’t wear it on days ima squat tho cuz I don’t want the barbell potentially scratching it.

Glorious chains! But I’m not wearing over 5 grand every day. The Jacoje 6mm Miami Cuban or 5.5 Jacoje Curb is half the price. 100 ounces is a lot to be wearing EVERY day. Not to mention, ropes aren’t as comfortable as a flatter link chain. I’m definitely wearing the medium sized rope on occasions, but not daily. Sometimes my 7mm mariner doesn’t even go with my outfit. Why wear it that day if you’ve got to worry about tucking it?

Rope is far more comfortable then flat chains. Flat chains stock to your skins in humid weather or sweating

Shmoney Daddy there are 1000 gram Cuban chains out there. So yeah 118 isn’t a lot in comparison to that but some people just need thinner or lighter chains they don’t like the weight. But other people want as much weight as possible. Gotta say great choice going with Daniel jewelry inc for the cuban. They are great

Probably gold price increased like crazy recently ( months years ) gold overs the years has never lost it value no matter what 2008 global financial crisis COVID-19 didn’t make any difference on gold prices on the stock market

Def not too thick for everyday wear at those lengths. I own a 9mm 30 inch. ( i wanted to go more old school with this length on this one lol) Now that one is not my all day everyday chain mostly cuz of the weight. But if it was shorter like most of my other chains, then sure.

I wear a 5mm 30 inch cause I’m 6’1 ft. And added a large coin pendant for the flex lol. 😊
