I still think even the newer elite v2s from fanatec are better then the v3 when it comes to loadcell. Its perfection out of the box. Throttle is also heavier then the v3s put of the box. I have the p1000 and the elite v2s i like them equally. But for some damn reason im still more consistent with my v2s and idk why. No matter what I do. I also loved my 15nm simagic alpha but had it for a while so picked up a dd+ and have to say when it comes to feel fanatec really stepped it up this time. It reminds me of asetek and simucube if they had a baby. The weight of the simucube when cornering and the details of the asetek.

What elastomers do you use and do you ever heel toe?

Would you say it’s a significant improvement from the V3’s out of the box or marginal at best, especially in regard to the brake?

For sure! The blue spring replacing the black throttle spring is a must. I’ve seen improvements in my braking. I’m more comfortable braking later. These have definitely made me quicker.

You can get them dialed in really well without it. I wouldn’t say it’s a waste but not a must have.
