ARE SCHOOLS INDOCTRINATING OUR KIDS?

Filmed by WORLDwrite volunteers at the Battle of Ideas Festival in October 2022 an engaging panel discuss what's going on in the classroom and what should be done about it.
Can contested political ideas be dealt with in classrooms via viewpoint diversity or should schools steer clear of tackling political controversies altogether? Are pupils to be viewed as a captive audience, too young to challenge what they’re hearing, or young people who need to be engaged with contemporary social trends?

I’m in Melbourne Victoria, Australia, and I’ve recently lost all contact with my 13 year old daughter because of this transgender ideology. I’ve been labelled a transphobic in court and even told by police that I’ve got no rights to just be informed of my daughter’s whereabouts. Her father is a psychologist (not practicing) and he is delighted to be able to withhold all contact and use this as a reason against keeping me informed. For 13 years she lived with me, he barely offered support and suddenly he and his mother have come in with lawyers and taken her. She’s now being taken out of school out of therapy, and into specialist care with transgender professionals. Our own police have training to deal with problem parents like me. The judge we had was against me and also my own barrister was telling I need to learn how to accept what is and trust the father. To take the child from me in the first place was poor attendance at school. The father has allowed her to take the year off school, and she will repeat year eight. This ideology is benefiting anyone who agrees with who is in power, it’s designed to give power to those who agree. Agreeing with authorities will see you rewarded with more power against anyone who questions the agenda of the powerful. Those going along with it and those looking the other way are also loosing their rights as humans, but they don’t care because of the immediate gratification they receive. They are being fooled into it and they are most likely going to end up in positions with more power just like the those who said “I was just doing my job” it didn’t make the ss army less accountable and it isn’t something we should need to experience all over again. For every child who is left scared and sterile, there should be an average of lives lost, because those children could have had families and that natural human right is being taken from them. If we could imagine it as though we were watching abortions happen to healthy babies without the mother wanting to. This is certainly not the children’s fault, but who is taking the blame when it hits them? Messing with their mind so that they are easy to medicate, started with an injection of poison, now it’s puberty blockers that is named as such to hide it true nature, to sterilise and prevent sexual development with serious side effects, including cancer. The longer a child is then given hormones of the opposite sex, the more the risk of ovarian cancer and atrophy, so the womb and ovaries must be removed to continue pretending they are the opposite sex. Six months is all it takes to see these risks develop, meanwhile the child’s organs are prevented from fully forming, the brain is reduced in size, major organs are immature, and none of it can be corrected. One look at the result of a fake penis sown onto a young girl, is enough to see red as a mother. Another frightening discovery is what they do with the clitoris, it is removed and this happens without it being discussed with the child or parents. Indoctrination in schools is only the first stage, there’s worse reasons why it’s happening. All because of power. Those with money like buying power and right now it’s selling at a faster rate, it’s a frenzy of uneducated people who buy their way out of the consequences in the end.

I'm deeply sorry that you are no longer in contact with your child, but, I can tell you've been a lefty your entire life by things you have written here., You reap what you sow. You will be very hard pressed to find a child raised by conservative, or what you probably call 'far right' parents being indoctrinated in this way. If you raised your child for 13 years, you are the cause. Try educating yourself from an unbiased viewpoint about subjects you *think* you are educated in. If you're able to do this, perhaps you can help other parents, before their children are turned.

At 14 years old our granddaughter and most of her female class mates in a UK school were groomed into gender ideology by people on TikTok, WhatsApp and encouraged by some teachers. Her school has affirmed this ideology, as one of her teachers actually rang her parents to thank them for their participation in her changing her name to a boys name (it was the first they knew about it) - she now uses this name on her school books. One girl was taken out of the school by her parents and had her phone confiscated, but her class mates bought her a phone so that she could get on the internet and stay in touch with them. Our granddaughter has also had numerous breast infections and she has had several 'fainting spells' at school, but none at home - we suspect that she is binding whilst at school. She is always going on about her so called 'friends' in New York, Canada, New Zealand she has met online and says that they have asked her to visit them - these 'influencer' types are also present in her peer group - I have met some of them at our granddaughter's birthday party, where she seemed reluctant to speak on her own behalf in their presence - they spoke for her - which seemed very odd. Gender ideology is seemingly normalising child grooming within western society, with people in authority and social media (influencers) affirming and promoting it's ethics. I find it very strange that the disconcerting stories of people who are attempting to de-transition are not being heard. Why are children no longer safeguarded under the UK Child Protection Act?

@@worldwrite Yeah, it's not ideal but it could be much worse. I'm still enjoying the discussion. 😁Btw: If you want a fool-proof method, I follow a channel on atomic energy where the owner has bought like 10 cheap mp3 recorders. He always tucks them onto all kinds of people, simply turns on recording and then combines the audio files later on. In the video here (kzread.info/dash/bejne/apx1mrhxqZiYcrA.html) you can see just about every single speaker has one attached to their shirt or tie. It's probably too much work under normal circumstances, i.e. if the room has proper audio, but it surely makes for a great backup solution. 😉

'Climate change' is a term I don't use as I don't like euphemisms. What is happening to our climate is anthropogenic global warming. Climate science is of Byzantine complexity, and can only be talked about sensibly by climate scientists, 99 per cent of whom agree that anthropogenic global warming is a fact and an existential danger. What people with financial vested interests in denying the reality of anthropogenic global warming have to say about it is of no value, but has been very dangerous for the past forty years. If we do not control and reduce the increased greenhouse effect that we have started, the planet will become uninhabitable by humans (and possibly by vertebrates). We must not destroy our habitat. It is the only one we have *or will ever have*.

Anthropogenic global warming has been instrumentalised in the culture wars... so people get targeted and ridiculed for rightly believing we are facing a climate disaster, ...because this issue has been bundled up with a woke agenda.... that's just human infighting, nature goes on regardless..the heat capacity of co2 and methane will not change...

If you guys need a volunteer who knows about sound engineering for a future event, I would be honoured to hop on a train and help out as a volunteer. I'm not a professional by any stretch, but I am qualified with a diploma in music, including in production and tech, I'm also a composer, and amateur content creator, so I work with AV gear and software literally every day. Basically, I have decent experience to bring to the table! Although I don't think you need an expert to say "turn the gain down!!", I'd hope I could help in a couple more ways than just that to help improve quality! Anyhoo, I live in the UK, if anyone involved in the festival, or indeed worldwrite sees this comment and would be up for having an extra pair of hands on deck, I'd be very happy to join in!

Hi thank you for your kind offer & we'd be delighted to have you. The thing is though we have absolutely no control of the sound at the festival it's all done by the venue's people who are understandably more concerned about sound for the audience than the cameras. That's the problem. We have splashed out on Descript to get studio quality sound in future edits although it is an extra long process, which is a pain as we are doing this as volunteers. Do email us if you would still like to volunteer & thank you again.

You should have challenged the guy who talked about influence outside the school. The one who asked about what about influence outside the school. This is being possessive. The school doesn't own the children. The problem is not that he mentioned other influences. That is a problem. It's a problem in the sense of that not even the parents are in control of it. The problem is with the way he presents it as though any kind of influence outside of the school is bad and worse or somehow wrong. He ends up turning a relevant point into him being a control freak. His commentary needed to be split to separate the wheat from the chaff. One the one hand, this bad influence is coming from children from many sources. On the other, it's not appropriate to argue for the school system to have a monopoly on influence which would only make things far worse.

. Teachers; I made it through 14 years of education without ever coming in contact with a radical or looney-tuned teacher. Says a lot about the times that I grew up in. I don't have a lot of tolerance for so-called educational analysts who blather on about how this garbage started and apparently really got going through the 1950s and 1960s. Um, no it didn't. The very worst of the beginnings first showed up tentatively in the 1980s, sort of stumbled through the 1990s, gained some footage through the Oughts, and really gathered steam from 2010 onward. Which would jive pretty well with most of my adult sensibility - which was well-tuned to this crap from my late teens onward.

Instead you are left with trust fund kids coming through who have subscribed to the group think whilst claiming to be working class. They are your race theorists, gender ideologs, environmentalists. There is no diluting anymore no verity just you labour and momentum kids. Who believe so strongly in their ideals that critical thinking skills will do sod all with them. I know my relative is one.
