Are Old School Hondas the Best?
By Aaron Gaghagen
Back in the day our channel was very different and we featured some great cars and events that virtually nobody watched. Now is the time to bring those great videos back so our current viewers can discover them. This video features a turbo single cam Del Sol with some of the sickest quick disconnects and a law enforcement inspired livery, a very young RC Chacon detailing the show car quality drag race EM1 Civic he helped build, Darkside Motoring's brilliant JDM Honda City build and America's best all-Honda track event, the West Michigan Honda Meet. For us, it's the quality of cars that truly stands the test of time.

90's cars are the best, I grew up in that era and still love everything from that time frame. I still have a 93 Civic Coupe, a 95 Del Sol, a 94 Land Cruiser, 96 BMW M3, and a 2001 S2000. The new Honda stuff does not excite me at all like the older ones did.

Agree too. The newer Hondas I don't like. Even the civic type rs aren't that great even their engines

Old Hondas are fun! And that's coming from a guy who has had a bunch of Volvo 240s, a Mustang II, a 1980 Buick Century wagon, and had mostly project cars that were RWD, like a Foxbody, and a '76 Coupe DeVille. But growing up my grandmother had a late 70s Honda Accord, black with chrome details, and I loved how cool that car looked as a kid, and as another relative had a late 70s Prelude, also black, when the two were parked next to each other... it made an impression on me, unfortunately my grandmother despite babying the car so it was always shiny and clean, always kept in the garage, always in great condition... we're still in Norway... and she still used the car in winter, meaning it was exposed to road salt, and the underside of the car rusted apart, she was so heartbroken as she loved that car so much, I still have the Accord badge from the trunk that I took from it before it got junked. Hilariously... as I owned a Mustang II, the only one I've ever seen in Norway, unfortunately a V6 version... though maybe it was a perk in a way, for access to parts, as the 2.8 V6 was a German Ford engine, found in the likes of Granada, Capri, Taunus, Sierra, etc... but I'm getting off topic. What I was trying to say, the '78 Mustang II HT I used to own, is a tiny car, and it's strangely similar to a '78 Prelude in it's shape, so I kinda called it a RWD Prelude, not the fastback version of the Mustang II obviously, but the coupe/hard top/notchback, or whatever you wanna call it. But it makes me wonder if there is anyone who has built one with a Honda engine, be it a K swap, or a Honda V6. Though if I'd had money to throw around at the time, I might have looked into importing a Honda engine from the US for it instead, as I'm still really fascinated with the one Honda engine family you rarely hear anything about, the G20A and G25A, Honda 5cyl engines, where they bad or something? or is it the lack of Vtec that make people not seem to use them? I'd love seeing like an EG with one of those engines, making some power, and being obnoxiously loud with the 5cyl engine sound. :P And sorry about going on and on, rambling tends to happen thanks to ADHD and cars being a thing that can trigger hyper focus, so just be glad I noticed and cut myself off at least, or I might have written an essay of insane ramblings, who knows what topic I'd end up at. :P

I agree the whole car should look good because someone has put a lot of time and money into the motor suspension and you name it , doesn't do it justice by leaving the outside looking bad .
