Lol defense is great and all but you gotta be able to put the ball in the basket at the end of the day. And outside of MJ nobody was a great scorer on the Bulls. Not only were the Warriors a great defensive team but they were arguably the best offensive team of all time! It's really not close. At the end of the day KD can match MJs Scoring output, but nobody on the Bulls can match Curry's or Klays output. And Draymond gives you a premium offensively over Rodman as well. Not to mention for the first time ever 35 year old Jordan would be seeing 6'6 iggy and 6'7 Klay instead of 6'4 GP and 6'3 Starks and 6'4 Danny Ainge and so on.

Yomali Martinez Pippen averaged 20 ppg. Rodman would destroy green defensively and offensively on the glass. Who’s guarding Jordan? Jordan, Pippen, and Harper could guard Steph and Klay. Kukoc was sixth man of the year and could get you 15-18 a game. Kerr is one of the greatest 3 point shooters of all time. Longley and Wennington were average but HUGE. Not saying warriors wouldn’t give them a hard time, but I got the bulls in 6 games. Defensively too strong and big. Jordan and company never lost in the finals. Wouldn’t bet against that team.

@ Desconocido D, Isaiah Magic and Worthy were NOT in their primes when the Bulls beat them. They were burnt out and over the hill. You don’t measure an Znba players age by calendar years. A players mileage or the number of games they’ve played determines wether or not they are in their prime. In the 80’s while Jordan was sent home in the first round getting rest the Pistons Lakers and Celtics made deep playoff runs every season which burned out their star players. Bird Magic and Isiah all got injured during their last playoff runs which proves they were burnt out. If you don’t believe look to the Warriors as an example of mileage burning players out while they’re still young in calendar years. Jordan couldn’t win a chip until the Lakers Celtics and Pistons aged out cannot be regarded as the best team ever. I’ll give the Bulls credit they did beat Barkley, Malone, Stockton, and Ewing in their prime. But those players were not as good as Isaiah Magic and Bird.

@@attainingknowledgeoftruth8348 Seems like you need to go attain more knowledge. Bird is a full 6 years older than Jordan and was in the league a full 4 years before Michael got drafted. Magic, Isiah and Bird were contemporaries. They were each others' competitive set. Jordan, Hakeem, Barkley, were contemporaries. They were each others competitive set. Out of all those players i mentioned, jordan is the only one who built a dynasty from scratch. All the others had HOF caliber players already on their roster when they got drafted. Isiah couldn't beat Bird until Bird and Mchale got injured. Isiah didn't beat Magic until Magic got injured. But Magic benefited from Isiah getting injured in the 88 Finals as well. Lebron didnt get past the Celtics until they got old. Warriors didnt get past the Spurs until the Spurs got old. Dirk didnt get past the lakers until they got old. Jordan didn't beat the pistons and celtics when they were in their primes. Just like the pistons and the celtics didnt beat jordan when Jordan was in his prime. That's because the Bulls and those teams were not in their primes at the same time! They belonged to different generations. A generation in basketball time is 4-5years difference!

But Lebron and the Heat were coming off 4 straight deep playoff runs and were very much burnt out. Jordan was able to win way past 29 for 3 reasons. 1.) He didnt face any super teams after Pistons, Celtics, Lakers aged out. 2.) Jordan took a break after his 3rd playoff run. 3.) Jordan is a physical freak of nature.

At the end of the day it just came down to the fact that Jordan wasn't going to lose in the finals. You could put any team in history up against those Bulls teams and down the stretch Jordan was an assassin and would just figure out what to do to win. He's the most competitive athlete in history. Never even played in a game 7. When the pressure was the greatest he elevated his game the highest. People that didn't watch him play just don't really understand.

He has the most rings but he was not a great offensive player and horrible at FTs like Wilt and Shaq. As a center in that era, he shot 44% from the floor for his career. That’s pretty bad. He was a great winner, defender and rebounder though but he needed some great offensive teammates to pick up the slack on that end. If we’re honest with ourselves, if Russell had never won that many rings, his name wouldn’t be mentioned much at all (like if he had won 5 or 6) but a player like MJ would still be talked about bc of his skill set on both ends of the floor even if he didn’t win as much as he did in the end. Of course, he wouldn’t necessarily be number 1 but you get the picture.

It is interesting because if you factor in how different / ahead of the competition they were, you'd have to go with Bill Russell's Celtics. It was due to free agency not existing, etc, but they were still far ahead of contemporaries. Of course in shear ability, it would be hard to argue against the Bulls.
