Are JoJo Siwa's Motherhood Aspirations Responsible?

Ойын-сауық

On a recent episode of her brand new podcast, former child star JoJo Siwa announced that she wants children within the next few years. Based on her close friendships with influencers like James Charles and Colleen Ballinger, this may not be the most appropriate idea.

I’m genuinely concerned for her future kids. It’s not even about her immaturity and fake-queer social media personality, the most terrifying thing is her & her mother’s nonchalant take on child exploitation. She was constantly abused and exploited throughout her young years and the abused become the abusers. it’s scary to listen Jojo and Jess talk about how to make a kid «successful». They’re both narcissists with unhealthy relationships. And what they did to those group of girls speaks volumes, absolutely disgusting.

People tend to change as they have children and it's not like any of our comments will prevent her from having kids if that's what she really wants. The best thing we can do as random strangers for the children is to provide her with kind advice. If we're too abrasive, she'll just deem us all "homophobic haters" and ignore any real criticism. It sucks to cater your language to other people but if you really do care about the well-being of those kids (which she will have), that's what we must do.

She is absolutely not ready. Given how she treats other people's children, funneling them into the industry and repeating the cycle of abuse she was exposed to. She needs to work through her own trauma and heal herself before she brings a child into the world and makes her pain and fucked up world view the baby's problem. And I say this as someone who comes from a lot of generational trauma and worked through childhood and sexual trauma. We made the cpncious choice to heal ourselves before we had our son (and soon daughter) because the children do not deserve to bear the brunt of your pain. Do. Better.

But scientifically the safest and best years for you to be pregnant, in terms of how it will affect your body and recovery time, is in your 20’s. You can still do it in your 30’s but it will be extra hard on your body and recovery will also take soooo much longer. Pregnancy In your 40’s is not recommended by doctors because it can kill you. Because your body is too old. Not impossible, but very very dangerous to be pregnant in your 40’s.

Years ago, I spoke with some lesb’ans who had s ex with men because those women wanted children. Those “mums” wouldn't let the fathers get to know their illegitimate children. What should those selfish narcissistic “mummy’s” tell their children who ask where their fathers went and why they're forbidden to meet them? What if only their fathers will love them self-sacrificially?

  • @MarekzAnglii

The man-hating "mums" definitely won't blame themselves. They'll probably tell their children that their terrible fathers left and wanted nothing to do with them. After all, what better way to turn them against men forever. Sad... actually tragic!

Thank you for touching on the whole being stable part of starting a family. My husband and I aren’t young in terms of starting a family but we’re both still hustling in our career fields and trying to get those started. It just would be a terrible time for us to bring a child into the world and every time we say this some people give us weird looks like we’re doing something wrong or they say “oh, you’re never fully ready until you have one.” We’re discussing having kids more but we both realize now is not the time.

A year or two ago, she went on whole tirades on Snapchat where she purchased baby clothes from Target just because she thought they were adorable. No clue if she actually donated them like she said she would, but it seems more like she wants a baby as an accessory and to "re-do" her childhood.

  • @crisemm5207

Exactly! She started buying baby clothes because she posted a picture of her inflating her belly saying "boy or girl"? People took it seriously and she went on with it FOR CLOUT! But in reality it was because her crush Jenna Johnson was pregnant. She's that weird. Supposedly she donated the clothes after all that mess, but there's no proof of that.

While I agree that is important to have two parents, a father isn’t automatically good, anymore than a mother is. You need parents who are consistent, communicate expectations clearly, and would rather guide their child than be a buddy. Last time I checked, none of that required a specific chromosome array but more a specific personality.

Not just the fun bits.) JoJo doesn’t want to be a mom. She wants “dolls” she can dress up and exploit. Children deserve better.
