Are HOCKEY Boards worth the Price?

Thanks to my homies, I finally got the chance to try out my first Hockey Board in my size (8.75") 🛹
I was actually so impressed with how this Hockey Board skated but is it worth more money than the average price of a skateboard deck???
Let me know what you guys think of Hockey Boards in the comments below 👇🏽

    Say what!! An 8.75" Hockey deck?! I didn't know they existed. These are pricey at my local if they come in at all. Thanks again for the thorough review and awesome clips. The comparison of the different wood shops helps me. Great to know where these Hockey Decks sit between and that they flex. An 8.75" Hockey Deck runs me $108 USD shipped so the pricing is on point. If they ever go on sale I'll snag one.

    For that price, and if you snap boards, why not just go with a 8.75 Flight deck? They have 15" wheelbase though. I like it, but, I guess not everyone does. Also, I think the concave and kicks are mellow on Powell decks. I've only mostly been skating Powell though and so can't really compare to much else.

  • @LeonPaxton

    @LeonPaxton

    Жыл бұрын

    Yeah exactly! You will get a lot more life out of a Flight deck compared to a standard popsicle board lol I had a flight board and the concave was pretty deep on my board. I actually liked that board a lot but my set up just felt too light because I had hollow light trucks as well

  • @idmhead0160

    @idmhead0160

    @@LeonPaxton The K15 concave on the shaped decks is real deep. The Popsicle shaped decks have K21 which is pretty mellow. I don't think Flight decks are any lighter that normal decks, only stronger. Powell makes no claims that they are lighter. I think it is a common misconception that they are.
