Are heated jackets worth it?
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
We just got these HART heated jackets that run on their 20v batteries. So warm I just wear a tshirt when it’s cold, and leave the jacket on “low” for hours at a time. Plus, it can charge your phone!

A heated vest as a mid-layer is definitely worth it especially when standing still. Restores the body heat instead of losing it.
I have had a Milwaukee heated jacket for over a year and LOVE it. Even though I live in Florida and don't use it very often, when I do it's amazing. As you said, you don't have to wear more than a t-shirt. The three heat settings are great for finding that perfect setting. It also has a heated collar, wasn't sure if the Hart had one of those but it really helps. I mainly use it once or twice a week to sit out on the back porch in the evenings and smoke a cigar in what passes for winter around here. But I have used it when visiting relatives in colder climates in the past Having lived in Maine for twenty years, I enjoy the cold as long as I can keep warm. It's great being able to adjust it as the evening gets colder and the effects of an adult beverage kick in. Probably not what Milwaukee intended, but it works for me.

I have used heated jackets. Currently I have a Milwaukee hoody. I love it. It’s be nice if they companies didn’t have to slam there logo on them like they do . That’s a personal opinion. Years ago I had one that used a flat battery pack. Like the ones you can use to recharge a smartphone or power usb devices. I likes that better for the flatness of it...the Milwaukee uses the 12v...nice but can be annoying. The 20v at least is flatter. Live confidently and peacefully

I bought an Arris fleece vest for my husband for Christmas. It's really a nice gift. I will also buy another vest for myself next winter.
I’ve used a snap on heated hoodie for years works great for the cold days in the shop Also charges the phone at the same time
Great video thank you! Any recommendations on heated socks? I have the worst luck!
I’m already invested in the Hart lineup and wanted to pick this up once large is available again on their website. Can you post another video showing the arms was wondering how it looks, also how waterproof is this jacket?
I love Hart products. Always a great value
Winter sucks in southern Wisconsin so I've definitely had one of these heated jackets in the back of my mind.

@@iwontreplybacklol7481 I do a t-shirt, long sleeve (probably Orvis) and a medium coat or jacket. Lightweight and flexible so I can add or subtract what I need as I travel in and outdoors. Depends on the weather but I have different clothes for different weather events.
I have the M12 hoodie. Only wear a zippered sweatshirt over it. Doesn't work well by itself, maybe the jacket would work better but, the cost keeps me from getting one Great channel
@MakerBreak - are the arms heated too?
this is really good to wear in a cold warehouse i bet , about tk get one for me and my pops that works out in the cold man
Totally with it especially if it comes with the battery. The only question is how much is a charger?

I’ve been using a heated vest for years. The vest is great because I put a jacket on over it and I tend to get too hot. So I can take the jacket off and just use the vest.

What kinda jacket you have been wearing is it a wool jacket or fleece?
Any health risk is would I would like to know?
How much time would an average one last ? On continuous use?
I got one, worth it depending on your region. If you're from some place that is often cold or cool then get it. If you're from the tropical area then no need.
Any suggestions for cold feet? Even Sorels won't keep my son's feet warm.

Heated jacket gear does wonders for all of your body parts. At least it does for me. Gets my blood nice and warm before it heads to my hands and feet.
Where is the ginormous 20V battery kept? The product pictures don’t elaborate. If it’s in the small of the back, doesn’t that make sitting down an issue? Milwaukee’s version of this uses their little 12V batteries, right? I’m sure that it doesn’t last as long, but all that extra weight would get to you after a while.

Milwaukee's version comes with their extended life 12v battery and a charger. The charger can also be used to power other USB devices. It is a bit bulky when you sit down though.
Is it good for running in?
They have it with a hood?
Never tried one, but I need one specially when I’m sitting in my cold, Ev
Gets to be minus 40 degrees Celsius here. U would need 5 batteries for a morning of work
Will these fit a size 4 (UK) female? Any is suitable for smaller sizes please?
What happens when you need to wash them?
What size is your jacket in this video
Right now its 89 bucks so im getting this badboy.
The wife has the camo hart heated coat she loves it
Does this jacket change hot and cold
im getting one for my motorcycle in the winter time
I mean I’m from the bc Rockies. The heated jackets r nice but with a tool belt your battery gets in the way plus in -20 the battery dies pretty quick. a duck feather jacket with a wool flannel and insulated pants with long Jon’s. A perca for your head is honestly the best way to go and to end it all gortex waterproof leather gloves for skiing. They keep you warm dry and they’re tough as nails. All this coming from a northern framer so yk it’s the warmest set up😂.
One just has to be sure the jacket has some warming properties if the battery dies and you are out somewhere....or bring a solar charge to charge the battery
I thought heated jackets were something I see off of cyberpunk
I got one for 25. And I use the dealt 20 v batteries.
Milwaukee might be better, I haven't owned a Milwaukee yet. I just returned my hart heated jacket. It was like carrying a heavy brick. It got annoying fast.
I recommend get a vest instead It is cheaper and you can wear your main jacket on top of it. Then even at low heat you get great heat cuz your main outer jacket will trap the heat in
I got Milwaukee the whole kit for 159
The Only concern what about the Electric isn't that damaging to the body?

Let's see your sit outside, at night, when it's in the 40s, for two hours, drinking a cold adult beverage in t-shirt and shorts. With no fire pit or any other hear source. 🤪
Not harts
I use a Milwaukee heated hoodie. Mehhh. It's OK. When it's below 0 you need layers and the heated layer gets lost in the mix unless it's against your skin. If it's an early layer the batt becomes hard to change. That said I use it. It helps
Walking outside in a jacket generally keeps you warm .
If it’s snowing it’s not freezing.
