"everyone has an opinion" until it's a problem when they don't think the same as you.

To be fair, there's a difference between a good review that calls something bad, and a bad review that calls something bad when it's actually good.

You can like a bad movie for various reasons, it doesn't make it a good film, you can still appreciate it. But just because you like something doesn't mean it is good. There is a difference.

You should probably learn the names of the directors you're referencing. Just saying "I don't know his name" is lazy considering you can easily write up a script and make notes of the people you talk about. Also, probably cut back on saying "and so forth" so often. Also feels a lazy replacement for actually articulating your point

There is a plenty reason to criticize a work based on how that work has been constructed and not what you believe society expects from the art. Everyone's criticism is coming from that person and never from a group. If I claim to speak for a group in my criticism, that would be a lie. It is clear as day that movies and most other art is inundated with political and societal lessons, and therefore the political brush strokes that are used to create garbage can be criticized just a much as the artists technique being used. In fact, I think that an artists naïve view of the world is also up for criticism in these times, otherwise, how do you prevent horrible people from exploiting emotionally weak people. A second thought is that the value of criticism has an exponentially decreasing affect. Your criticism of his criticism is worth less that his criticism. And my criticism of your criticism is worth even less, but there is a point that it all looks the same to an not-so-keen eye. For the record I don't like Stuckman. He doesn't go hard enough.

He might as well come out and say "You can disregard all my opinions, because I'm shilling myself from now on"
