It would be best if you did NOT generalize Americans. We are NOT used to children being deleted nor have accepted such. I've visited South Africa several times and I love it. I love and respect my friends there dearly. When they visit America, they mention what and how something is done in South Africa all the time and it's not annoying, but interesting. We do the same about America and they're not offended, but it does strike up a good conversation over a meal. My friends and I were robbed at gunpoint in Gauteng, South Africa, but I refuse to generalize all South Africans because of that incident. I cannot wait to visit South Africa, again, and eat at Nandos. South Africans are beautiful people, but, so are Americans, and you can't speak for all of us. All countries have bad apples in the bunch. ijs

It really saddens me being born in America not ever been able to truly connect to who I am supposed to be and never knowing who my ancestors truly were. I am indigenous to America but many of us here were re classified as colored, negro , black now African American. All terms started by european ideology. How do I start over? I tried living in Ghana it wasn’t a really good fit for me. I love the mentality of South Africans.

Iam a Native American with afro ancestory. I don't consider myself black anymore because identifying with a color turns you into a hate group or gang here, and I don't consider myself African because that's the name my Greek family called us. There's a lot of European terms we use that dont fit us or who we are. I think we as melaninated people of America tend to forget that this is who we are here today just like some africans are Bantu some arent we are just another sector of the diversity of Africa's evolution our ancestors in America is an important peice of history and who we are today. Alot of us like me was the enslaver and the slave not saying dont look for your history if you dont know Im just saying don't get caught up in trying to be what you aren't and lose whst you believe in some ancestors wouldn't have agreed with eachother i think its best you follow what you think is right for you. They are not us we aren't them. We can follow their ways and learn our ancestors traditions but we haven't went through what they have and vice versa no other group as had to go through this nor can they relate this is our history today. Most tribes dont have their original traditions for them to even consider themselves as a tribe shows they lost their traditions. I think its about time that we accept that we are different people our cultures are different we'll never be African but thats okay, they'll never see us as one of them anyways more so as a brother if anything and I love my afro people just it's about time we finally accept the horrors and work towards building our community up with the traditions and resilience that we have here and should embrace and build then maybe be able to bring and build something back home. Our ancestors worked hard to be in America and be a part of the system their spirits are in us only our kids will share their voices once we are gone.

Even in these elections, we must get the approval of Fitch & Moody. The USA foreign exchange rate is used to milk SA. As long as African Americans understand that we suffer the same oppression from the USA, maybe we can work together to liberate ourselves because our oppression is intertwined.

The mindset for FBAs getting out after fighting for 400 years in America should be rest-in-Yah. Not our responsibility to build up anything at this point. Yah said He will do it after captivity. I get this is your business line, but the geopolitical alone is a nightmare. Racial tensions, racial inequities, cultural differences, and some FBAs in Sub-Saharan Africa actually believe we are at the bottom. Why their IS constant struggle. So a man believes... The difference between us up N. Africa is we are not integrating with another culture we are coexisting and set-aside people like Yah said we are. Therefore, we are prospering. There is a conflict of interest when you are trying to become what is already there culturally and prosper beyond the current economies. Why YT, Asians and Arabs prospers there. They have no plans of those sorts.

Not all of your audience is brand new to this. Some of us have already been there and thrived. However, No one is perfect. I find it in poor taste and insulting that you would laugh at other’s need for justice when they’re still places in South Africa where blacks aren’t allowed AND most of the wealth of South Africa still belongs to white people!!! Yes, you broke through apartheid, but you still haven’t received your reparations and ITS AFRICA!!! The Africans should have put all the Europeans out but just like us they keep giving chance after chance after chance for white folks to do right. You seem to have missed all of that in this video. I was absolutely a subscriber and supporter. But that right there let me know. You really think you’re better than some other people because you no longer try to “fight” for your justice? Wtf are you talking about. People can go wherever they want in Africa, but SA are the most progressive, then even most European or Asiam countries. Why do you think so many Africans come here. We literally represent all cultures, religions and are capitalists. However their are rules. Since the late nineties people come here ,and think rules don't apply to them.

While I welcome these conversations, let me remind you. It is only 41M FBAs. We did not put ourselves on those slave ships except from a disobedience standpoint we did. To go back in and kowtow or build up lands that may be under judgment is crazy. You will not prosper. Prosperity is tied to the will of Yah.

There's a warmth in the people unlike anywhere else. There's always some that stray from the norm, but that's not the majority. Majority gets along well and have respect for each other. Rule #1 Africans Identify by Tribe before race. I think the most important thing to do when moving to any country is to remember to make an effort to assimilate into their society rather than trying to encroach your own onto it, there are and have always been many different cultural groups here and each have their own way of doing things making it hard to clearly define a straight forward way of behaving. Simply try to connect with people in a respectful manner and you will be guided on how to do things appropriately. I think most African immigrants did the latter and that's why problems occur.

Your South African friend mentioned how African Americans can have a holiday but no rights - sounded like criticism. This highlights a significant contradiction. It’s similar to how South Africans are still subjected to inequalities in their own land despite winning independence. It’s essential to recognize that individuals who lack exposure to other cultures might mistakenly perceive someone’s natural demeanor as arrogance or an inability to assimilate. Additionally, it appears that other groups expect African Americans to change to better assimilate while others can hold onto their culture and ways of life outside of their homelands. This double standard is uncanny.

@@AshleyinAfrika I should note that African-Americans are not as superficial as discussed. Those of us who considered going to Africa are aware that life there differs from what we have developed here in America. However, I do notice anti-African-American sentiment in the comments, where individuals often express negative views about African-Americans based on uninformed assumptions and western ideologies. It’s important to address these misconceptions to foster a more accurate understanding and mutual respect. We as African Americans, the descendants of slaves are diverse across the spectrum of people and not homogeneous. As a whole, we are welcoming, patient, tolerate and forgiving.

They, and OTHERS truly KNOW they're not NATIVES. But, are there SOLELY for the WEALTH, just as their ANCESTORS. To say anything else except the truth, is simply being DISHONEST/HYPOCRITICAL, and not who I am nor what OUR PEOPLE HELD IN HIGH ESTEEM as a character trait. We are our ANCESTORS, and will ALWAYS do and value the things they did too, without INTERFERENCE/MANIPULATION. Hence, why there are ALWAYS cases of DESCRIMINATION & SEGREGATION from the USUAL CULTURES as it's a part of who they are and will CONTINUE TO BE. While, you will EASILY find cases of the NATIVES being UNIMAGINABLY KIND/CARING/CONSIDERATE, etc., to OTHERS as that has/is our NATURE and DISASVANTAGE that is exploited generationally. Until, WE SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! You can see that those among us who have been DECEVED/COMPRIMISED/CHANGES by FOREIGN INFLUENCES to DESTROY/DESTABILIZE/DISENFRANCHISE, etc., our people ALWAYS REMAIN A VERY SMALL PERCENT OF OUR PEOPLE---as we aren't that type of people by NATURE.
