Moody Castle Ruins at the End of the NC 500
We have come to the final leg of the North Coast 500 and are travelling from Durness, through Ullapool past the Ardvreck Castle Ruins and on to Grave. We had long, glorious sunsets with moody and atmospheric lighting over the mountains and the castle. It was a great opportunity for some spectacular drone footage, but we spent so much time there, we ended up driving into Garve in the pitch dark.

By the end of this drive we were tired, but it was so gorgeous before night officially fell.

The castle was a spectacular stop. So moody at sun set!
This was fantastic, lovely to see more of the NC 500, such a breath taking landscape. Loved Ardbeck castle in your drone footage that was so very beautiful. Isolate and alone on that island, it's just perfect! Thank you for the wonderful video

It’s so desolate out there our choice was to either sleep by the side of the road or get our butts to the nearest hotel. Plus, we needed to charge!

That castle, in that light, was just so moody. We probably spent too long, but we couldn’t get enough!
