do the batteries charge when the USB cable is connected?
*Good Night. I'm using power supply of 9 volts connected by a plug(near conection usb) directly to arduino uno* Car doesn't move but servomotor still moving if is a object in front* How i can check if outs is giving energy to motors?
I try the line tracking and The obstacle avoidance mode both Are working fine but the main issue I can’t upload both file and the same time

Hi Harley, the code is designed to work independently, you will need to upload the different code to use the different modes.
can you get an updated video
At 44:54 it says "wire the 12v to the VIN on the UNO." My question is: shouldn't it be the 5V ? Wouldn't that damage my arduino? Sorry I am new at this, please clarify to me.

The VIN pin is a net connected to the arduino's power input. In this case, it is powering the motor board at +12V via that pin, since the arduino is receiving its power through 5.5mm barrel plug, VIN acts as an external output. Also, arduino UNO has an input voltage max of 20V and recommended at 7-12V

i just finish building it, code was well uploaded, compilation well done, all the led blinks but no movement, please what can i do. i powered it with regular 9v battery

Hello. Please check that the battery is fully charged. You can also try changing the speed setting to a higher value
why do when i connect the battery usb, it doesn't turn on at all, like the UNO board isn't even blinking

this uses 2 X 18650 batteries which is about 7,4V. The USB cable only gives you 5v which is lower than what is required
Can you please help me. when I verify the code it says i should pick a board but i dont know which board is the correct one i need to pick, for obstacle avoidance

Hello you can use any electronic jumper wire. You can get this from your local electronics store or can be purchased in South Africa from here www.robofactory.co.za/229-jumper-cables
At approximately 50/51 mins I get an error message when I want to copy code for line tracking mode. Not sure how to progress. Missing FQBN (Fully Qualified Board Name) Compilation error: Missing FQBN (Fully Qualified Board Name)

Hello, please check that your battery is charged. This uses 18650 batteries. You can also increase the speed variable in the code
