Yea man I can’t stand the wires either.. so... I haven’t tried the pros. I thought about trying them only because the 7p wasn’t available. Long story short I looked at it like this... there’s a good reason this headset is sold out. They don’t disappoint at all. I say go for it.

Man idk what should i do, i own the pulse 3D and i love the conectivity with the ps5, the sound is mehhh , and the headset hurts my ears after a while i want to buy the 7p but idk if its worth it

Honestly I just set up in a way that I don’t use the front usb unless I’m using another headset

They all work with 3d audio so your good there. The 3d audio is controlled on the console. It came down to comfort for me. I can’t wear the Sony headset for to long. Out of the box the 7p sounds better “ in my opinion” for all the games I’ve played.

Do a regular arctis 7 vs 7p

this was actually a great review comparing the two headsets. although the mic in the 7p’s does sound slightly muffled, it still sounds better than the pulse 3d’s. i’ve been debating on getting the 7p’s since i first seen them, and this might’ve just made my decision for me 🔥

I have both. I prefer the ARCTIS 7P as well but like how the Pulse 3D is integrated with PS5 where everything is done automatically for you. I really wish the PS5 would know if the ARCTIS 7P headset was turned on or off even when the dongle is connected to the PS5. In this case, the user will need to manually select TV audio in the settings or they would need to remove the ARCTIS dongle. The Pulse 3d on the other hand knows if the headset is turned off and will automatically default to TV audio even when the dongle is attached to the PS5. The screen visuals you described on the PULSE is another thing I wish ARCTIS 7P had. Other than that, the ARCTIS is the clear winner to me b/c of everything you described in the video. Sound and Comfort is what matters most. Plus you can customize your sound settings with the ARCTIS STEEL engine.

@@gaborszeles6387 Hi. To be honest I'm not really sure how to answer your question. I don't use the Pulse 3d very much. There is a configuration for overall volume control in PS5 itself. Also, there are different equalizer settings that are available for 7P that can be configured through your computer. If I had to pick one, I would go with ARCTIS mainly b/c they are more comfortable than the Pulse. Also, I don't really max out the volume super high on headphones to really know which is louder. Sorry about that. NOTE: If you have an Xbox, playstation, and switch, the 7x works for all of them. The 7x quality is the same as the 7p when using on playstation according to a representative I spoke to from ARCTIS.

You're not suppose to use it in the front like that, it comes with an adapter so you don't block any ports

Great video! The 7p destroys the pulse 3D. I bought them both and compared them for myself and I agree completely with your review. The only thing that I would add is, although the design looks better on the Pulse, it makes my head look huge and round when I wear it as with the 7P it’s form fitting and it looks like a normal headset, which I personally think is a another win for the 7P. Finally, If someone prefers the sound of of the pulse over the 7P but want the comfort of the 7P then they can go into the app and select the performance EQ mode and it’ll make it sound more like the Pulse. I still think that even in the performance mode, you still get more low end than with the Pulse but it boosts the high frequencies so you can hear the foot steps better like on the Pulse.

Sony pulse 3d is much louder theb 7p, and chatmix works on pulse, usb c. The 7p wins only on comfort, batterylife, mic.

Check razer kaira pro (ps5) fire! Haptic low is fire. And the dongle is cool makes so you can use other USB A port still. And sound is great again with haptic they are great for everything.

I bought the Arctis 7P and the Mic doesn’t work at all when live streaming to KZread from the PS5 so in my honest opinion the Arctis 7P are 💩 and the Sony 3D Pulse beat them hands down because the Mic works when live streaming to KZread.

I haven’t done a live stream so I can’t confirm but I would expect the mic would be able to work when streaming. If you still own the 7p I would double check to make sure your device isn’t faulty or some user error. If you have done all the research to make sure, then that would suck.

@@unboxinghype813 tested it on multiple PS5’s and Mac’s and it’s either a 💩 device and they need to refund my money or send me a new one and you could help by testing out if the mic works in your lifestream since you have the device yourself so either you can help what I’m telling you to be fact or help me figure out if I just have a faulty device? This is 2 devices out of 2 devices I have had issues with from SteelSeries. Please help a brother out!
