10 months later I'm here peeping this review and I'm rolling with the Pulse 3d midnight black. I found only a slight discernible difference in mic tone with both sounding good and the updates for EQ on PS5 swayed me. Also I'm mainly using my headset for CoD so I like the fact I'll be able to hear the footsteps better. As far as comfort they sell after market ear pads for Pulse if I find the standards too uncomfortable. Thank you for the review, it really helped me decide.

Nice mic test bro i just bought the steel series 7p and im not a fan of the mic overall, but I appreciate the crispness of the mic but its not as clear rich and deep as other headsets, crisp was the perfect way to describe the mic not “clear”

Yea it's looking like the Arctis 7p for me my Astros are on their last leg and I've been looking for a new headset that I can go from my pc to my imaginary PS5 that I don't have yet. Great breakdown as always my brotha.

Astros are probably the best as far as sound but the Arctis are great for the price. U gonna get that PS5 soon enough playa. Appreciate chu 🙌🏾

they recommend that you use the included dongle for it but kinda with they tested how it fits on the console better :/

Those Arctis headphones look lit! You should also maybe compare the audio to Sony ch700n/ch710n which is around the same price range

Razer kaira pro (ps5) just got it! Thing is fire check it out. They aren’t in stores just came out December. Great for gaming, music movies! They took the place of my beats studio 3!!

Dope drop mayne. Seems like Sony made really took certain shortcuts on everything to sound good while keeping the cost down as much as possible. I also miss being able to pair my headset to my phone, which I also can't do with the Pulse. Good headset nonetheless tho. Dope review, that b-roll is fuego bro!

Great review fam..I have the 7p and love them. I do notice the 3D isn’t as telling. Not sure if it’s because they really haven’t utilized the 3D audio yet or like you said the deeper base keeps it from being truly heard. Keep doing what you’re doing fam! Merry Christmas!

I have the Arctis 7x for my XSX and the pulse 3D for ps5. I know I know the 7x works for both... but I held onto the pulse beyond return date.

Have both and both are worth the price and punch above their price tag.

The prices are just overpriced here in singapore the ps5 3d headset for $150 and steelseries 7p for $300, for twice the price im not sure if its worth it.

But dude who cares if the other people don't like your voice I personally wouldn't care if the didn't like my mic and if someones voice sucked I still wouldn't care. But anyway great vid keep up the good work;)

Something a girl would say 😂 The voice is everything when your gaming. You have to hear and understand your friends you play co-op with. It’s super annoying when your in a party and somebody’s mic is trash 🤸🏽‍♂️🤾🏾🗑

Pulse 3d is fantastic for music though. I've been listening for a last few days. It has very similar sound curve to hd600 or lose porta pro. It sounds very very good. Arctic is smaller and did not fit me head while pulse does. Rotating cups count for shit or arctis. Nobody ever needs that

For audiophiles, yes it is budget. This is pretty much as low as it gets for average sound

I have both, and I prefer the Pulse 3D over the Arctis 7P. They sound about the same, but Pulse's is bit better (I hear sounds more clearly), and they are much more integrated in system, as you can mix the party / game mix directly on the headset and see the volume / battery level in the UI. On the other hand the Arctis are waaay more confortable and the battery lasts much longer. The microphone also sound surprisingly the same, considering is integrated on the Pulse (which is more confortable and looks better). To me, considering also the difference in price, Pulse 3D are a better headset overall for PS5.

Have you changed the the Arctics settings?

Arctis have an EQ adjustment setting too. Adjusting them makes big difference

Those arctis look like they are goin to snap. Read all the reviews, common problem with them. I will stick with the Pulse 3d's

In a world of $250 - $500 wireless headsets... they’re budget. Anything cheaper is just that... cheap
