I was looking for a way to clean up my excess carbon build up in my EGR system and intake. Direct injection engines do not have fuel going through intake manifold to keep the intake valves and runners free of carbon. Having exhaust gases going through your intake with no way to clean it is a ticking time bomb. Its even worse with diesel.     This isn't the correct additive for stiction. You want the 9100 for the oil. Stiction happens on the hydraulic side of the injector.

    I love the archoil buddy. It stinks like hell if u get it on ur hands but its well worth it. But i also have a egr delete

    Fintech Repair Shop heck yea buddy i could to man that stuff is serious! I put it in every tank of fuel for my 6.0 and 7.3. It doesn't have the anti gel in it so during the winter id add some anti gel to. My 7.3 starts so much better with the archoil in it. Have u used the oil treatment as well? It fixed my stiction issue with my 6.0

    Just get rid of the EGR and put BD up-pipes on going from the manifolds to the turbo. Its never a good idea to blow soot back into your engine. Then guys can't understand why they cannot get the miles out of these trucks.

    EGR is not a issue it’s the PCV get a PCV delete and the sludge goes away.

    @@fintechrepairshop its an injector cleaner meaning it will clean and lube the fuel deliver side of the injector not an intake cleaner or egr cleaner the only way to eliminate the carbon build up in the intake manifold on a 6.0 is to delete the egr system all Together or to weld the cooler shut and by you saying the arch oil 9100 cleared up you stiction issues is like saying you put a bandaid on a cut the problem is still there it's just covered up for the time being if you have ever taken one apert you would know that there is so much bad info out on The 6.0 powerstroke its scary

AR6200 addresses issues associated with poor quality diesel, including the accumulation of performance-robbing soot, to restore and maintain vehicle performance. AR6200 increases cetane and many users will also notice an increase in fuel economy (MPG). The DPF will be kept clean, resulting in less frequent regens. Turbo and emissions systems will also be kept free from excessive soot.

    I agree, its doesn't seem practical that it would clean down the exhaust stream (Turbo, Cat, EGR). I'm just going off what they are saying. My thought was maybe some of the un-burned fuel with Archoil in it would act as a solvent.
