I think your logic for layout is spot on. Guests will enter into the most formal of rooms and have a space to acclimate, then progress to more intimate/personal areas from there.

I love this! We are considering purchasing a home from the 1880s in our town in Indiana. It has been beautifully restored, but the ways the rooms are set up by the current owners isn’t as functional for my family and I’ve been thinking about making the entry/receiving room the dining room and it feels validating watching this video! The home has many similarities to this one and there are also many doors and entry ways that would make it less comfortable living room

Older homes force awkward situations. They weren’t designed for the way people live today. But they are still quite functional and can be cozy and comfortable

Love the old clips of back in the day and the entry into the dining room is fantastic and classic . The addition of custom work takes the house to another level .

Rare to see quality videography in a home diy video that feels "homey" and has a lot of knowledge associated with interior design. Video definitely deserves more likes.

Afternoon! Thats such a wonderful transformation! You certainly are running a marathon with the house, but you're making huge strides and the payoff is starting to show you what all that work was for. Its going to be a HOME , right now its a house filled with love and care getting ready for the ball lol. She's so ready to get all dressed up with you!

Just discovered your channel, really wonderfully educational. It's also so impressive seeing both how far the house and your video production skills have come along the way! Hope you keep it up even when the house is done!

I admittedly haven't seen every single episode so seeing your 3d walk-through was awesome! It's really coming together and the architectural history lesson was a fun mix-up from your usual how-to + update :) KEEP GOING!!! You continue to inspire me to work on my place. My dining room is next! No floors to do but I am also going to lower a part of it to accommodate some piping we put in for a 2nd floor bathroom.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I’m glad to hear you are finding the content relevant and inspiring. That inspires me. I recommend watching episode 67. The third segment shows much more 3D animations of the entire house design! kzread.info/dash/bejne/o2yrrZaIj67AYrw.html
