This shit warms my heart. This is what life is all about. Doing the things you like/love with and for the ones you love. You're living the dream my friend. You may not be rich, I don't know what your finances look like, but you're wealthy where it matters. I know I'm tardy to the party but you earned my subscription. Thanks for the video.

Great video!! I’m still having trouble with an existing 3 way switch, one light. That part was already here. When I try to dub another light it just doesn’t work properly. One light will light and the other will not. I’ve tried new switches, everything works as it should but can’t get the 2 light added? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi there i liked your method, i was wondering if we didnt want to remove drywall, if cutting only what we need at the bottom is possible? Also do you think contractors would be itnerested in this kind of project or would they think its too involved or charge a lot for it?

You had the floor joists exposed- why not screw/glue a 2x4 to the floor joist making the 2x4 level and then screw subfloor down to a level surface. Seems alot easier.

I love this! We are considering purchasing a home from the 1880s in our town in Indiana. It has been beautifully restored, but the ways the rooms are set up by the current owners isn’t as functional for my family and I’ve been thinking about making the entry/receiving room the dining room and it feels validating watching this video! The home has many similarities to this one and there are also many doors and entry ways that would make it less comfortable living room

  • @RundownReborn

I bought an 86 year old house and gutted it to the studs. The floors were a mess, they were so uneven in every way and every spot. I had no idea what to do or how to fix it. My contractor messed me over and I was left to try and figure it out on my own. I have no carpentry skills whatsoever so I took to youtube and you were the first video I had found. It took me 5 weeks but my floor is 100% level and secure with your method. Thank you so much for sharing this!

This is so cool. Our cottage is very old as well. We don't have soffits or a ridge vent, and our attic could use an upgrade like this. Did you simply insulate the rafters directly against the ceiling? The info out there about closed attic spaces is so confusing...
