Great videos! So I know that to adjust the brace height is a matter of adding or removing twists to the string. What I don't get is if you should reposition the nock point after you make a brace height adjustment.

Yes, the height of the nocking point will change when you change the number of twists in your string. Small movements - but could be enough to change your groupings.

It's a good practice to check both the brace height and knock point every time you assemble your bow . You may accidentally lose a twist or two of the string when putting up or taking down your bow .

Recurves are cool but can you do some videos for us who shoot compounds?

I grew up hunting with a compound, but I wouldn't say compound form and tuning is my expertise! LOL

Just subscribed to your channel. I find your videos very helpful. I wanted to know where did you purchased the archery target from?

Thanks. Quick newbie question. Is a right-handed bow one that is used by right-handed archers, or one that is held in the right hand (i.e. by left-handed archers)?

If someone says they are a right-handed shooter, that means they are holding the bow with the left hand and pulling the string back with the right hand! Hope this helps!

@@ArcheryHouse hi. Thanks but actually I am looking at bows online. They are either right or left handed and it's not clear to me whether what that means. I'm right-handed and hold the bow in the left hand. Should I buy a right-hand or left-hand bow, according to manufacturer's description 🤔?

How to choose the right archery bow first time buyer and how to tell if your right handed but shoot better left or not or opposite, I'm right handed very few things I feel I do better left handed but then most things I do right, trying to find out before I buy what would you recommend ? Sounds silly but true I am sure I not the only one, archery bows are expensive. Like the Hoyt bow you have and use, like to get the one right for me ?

Do you have a local range? The best advice I can give is to try both - for you, it sounds like it may come down to personal preference since you do use both left and right equally. A lot of times, you can do that at a local range! Check out my video on Eye Dominance - that may also help you make a better decision!

As the coach says , go to a range or join a club first . Don't do as I did many years ago, I bought a bow and thought I would be an instant Robin Hood only to come down to earth with a bump lol , I joined a club and soon found out I wasted my money but from there I progressed to master bowman so it all worked out in the end.
