I remember once, i had like 160 archers horses, and i didn't have any mele unit, so i called for help of my allies, when the support of the allies was in the castle, the lord died of how many shots of arrows he received. And that feeled like he died in less than 50 shots, 1500 shots for killing one lord?, good grief

there is another small mistake in the video. portable shields do need 400 shots not 200. just tested it myself a second ago.

Endlich weis ich wie viele Bogenschützen ich brauche um ein Lord zu oneshoten. Danke für deine Tipps.

@Beauregard lustigerweise hatte ich mal in einer Einzelspielerpartie knapp 2000 berittene Bogenschützen rekrutiert und zu einer vorher handlungsfähig gebombten und finanziell ausgehungerten Schlange geschickt, die nur noch den Lord und eine Handvoll Truppen am Bergfried hatte... durch den Bergfried haben zwar die meisten Schüsse verfehlt, aber trotzdem war der Lord tot, bevor die berittenen Bogis überhaupt alle versammelt waren xD

Also consider that there probably were troops that wore thin, shoddy armor as well. Those were expensive, and I bet some people did cut corners. This is a mere guess tho I got no sources.

Do you mean battle of Agincourt? And yes, that's true, to be honest the basic archer is obviously a Longbowman, he should in theory do more damage than the Arab units using composite bows.

Eine Zeitmessung wäre nicht nicht schlecht, also time to kill. Dann könnte man quasi das DPS zwischen verschiedenen Einheiten vergleichen. Ist ein arabischer Bogenschütze besser als ein Armbrustschütze gegen Pikeniere?

Die Reichweite ist die gleiche. Dass die arabischen schneller schießen, stimmt aber. Außerdem halten sie auch ein wenig mehr aus und haben einen höheren Nachkampfschaden. Im Gegenzug kosten sie aber auch mehr als die Europäischen.

You need +15% bonus damage to 2-shot slingers (instead of 3-shoting). Even with max +25% bonus damage archers still 3-shot spearmen. With max +25% bonus damage you can 3-shot monks (instead of 4-shoting). With -10% damage you 5-shot monks With +25% bonus damage you can 4-shot archers (instead of 5-shoting) (and with -25% damage you 7-shot archers) With +25% bonus damage you can 5-shot arabian archers (instead of 6-shoting) (and with -25% damage you 8-shot arabian archers) With +15% bonus damage you can 7-shot horse archers (instead of 8-shoting) (with -25% damage you 11-shot arabian archers) With +15% bonus damage you can 9-shot crossbowmen (instead of 10-shoting) (and with -25% damage you 14-shot crossbowmen)

Since when do all archers do the same damage per arrow? Originally arabic archers needed 2 arrows for slaves, because their damage was slightly not enough...

No , there damage is same . But if you use Bad Factors , so they will decrese damage of all characters but increases your economic output . Caliph archer need 2 arrows for Slave and Saladin archer do the same with 1 arrow .

Was ich nicht verstehe: Wenn ein einzelner europäischer Bogenschütze 1500 Schuss braucht, um den Burgherrn zu töten, müssten dann nicht z. B. 300 Bogenschützen nur 5 Schüsse brauchen? Das ist offensichtlich nicht der Fall. Woran könnte das liegen?

Sie schießen schneller, haben also technisch gesehen einen höheren dps, aber sie haben etwas weniger Reichweite, wenn ich mich recht entsinne. Und sie sind natürlich viel teurer.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on. This isn't right... I just noticed... has no one else noticed!? The Pikeman able to take the most crossbow bolts, 17, straight to the face. While the Arabic Swordsman only tanking 3 - ha, pathetic. And the European Swordsman able to take 12 shots. It's always been touted that Pikeman has the highest defense in the game but now the Swordsman can take more than 3x as many arrows than the Pikeman. Even the pathetic Arabic Swordsman took more arrows!? Are you shitting me. Hello, Logic?

This is Stupid because no one enemy have only one archer....When u come to his castle every enemy have over 20 archers..... For me The Best Army is Maceman ,with about 80 Maceman and with 25 archers on horses u can Smash any enemy in early period of game....

This isn't about a simulation, what happens, when you fight 1 single archer. It is supposed to show, how many each unit in the game can endure statwise. Even if it's not realistic, to fight one single archer, it could be nice to know, that for example 50 Archers need over 3 Volleys to kill a single swordsman and so on.
